The talk

King sat next to me and his crew filled up the rest of the seats which was funny because the only people that was sitting at the table was me and jaeyla .
"Did we say you could sit hear" I said not knowing I was showing a little attitude.
"I didn't know I had to ask " king said with his deep but cute voice.
"Trust me you don't" jaeyla told him while putting her shoebox in her bag.
"Thanks jaeyla right?" King said . I was surprised he knew her name because him or his crew never ever talked to us before.
"Yep " she said while zipping her bag
"And you must be the famous Ashley I've been hearing about"he said turning to face me .
"Well duh if she's jaeyla"I said now getting a little upset at the fact that all of his friends were staring at me.
He laughed which made ma a little more upset.
"I just want to talk to you" he said while looking at my lips and then my eyes.
"Well here's a tip. Next Time you want to talk to a girl don't bring 15 other people with you "I said and then got up from the table.
"I got to go to my locker you coming jaeyla " I noticed her and kings friend tony was flirting .
" nahh but king can go with you" I can't believe she said that .
"Sure" he motioned for his boys to get up
"No your coming there staying or going somewhere else" and so said so done . We walked to my locker which was on two hundred hall and when we got there king spoke.
"Are those your designs " he was pointing at the drawings that were taped on the inside of my locker.
"Yea" I replied while taking out my cropped tommy hillfiger sweater.
"Damn you got talent" he said looking at me the same way he was looking at me in the cafeteria.
I closed my locker
"So what did you want to talk about " I asked
"Well I wanted to ask you on a date tomorrow after school." He said. You could tell that he was scared to ask.
" but tomorrow is a Tuesday." I said a little confused.
"Yea well that's my only free day this week but if you don't want to come I'll understand "
" what time" I asked with a smirk on my face
"Right after school meet me at my car" he said with a smile that showed off his dimples.
"And what might that be"I asked
"Trust me you'll know it when you see it"he said and we started to walk around
"So what should I wear on this date" I asked while he walked me to my first class.
" bring a bathing suit and that pretty face " he said then nudged me
"Oh you think I'm pretty" i said while putting my long black hair on my shoulders
" I think your much more than that " suddenly he put his arm around me and I let him leave it there.
" so who's your first class?" He asked . Every time I talked to him I had to look up to him because he was so tall
"Mis. Pain" I answered . She taught digital design which kinda helps me with new designs for my shoes.
"Oh I have Mis.baily" he said. She was a game design teacher and was pretty cool. I had her class as a freshman.
Turns out that our two classes are right across from each other. When we got there he gave me a hug and we went to our class.
I walked in the class and saw a lot of familiar faces, one I knew for a fact didn't like me .
Her name was janoi and she didn't like me because her Ex boyfriend kissed me but that bitch ain't want to hear my side of the story .
There was only two seats left . One next to tony(kings friend) , or the one next to janoi.
Tony it is.
I walked to the table and sat down. I could feel janoi staring at me as I walked to my seat.
"Damn what you do to her" tony asked . His voice was deep and he had braces.
" kissed her boyfriend " I said while taking my laptop out of my book bag and turned it on.
" damn do you like him or something?" He asked this time facing me.
" at the time yes but that was two years ago and I didn't know that he was her boyfriend. And all she knows is that it happened one time so she good. And trust me your boy king good to." I assured him
"Oh I'm not worried about him . The way you handle the crew in the cafeteria, I know you about you business and don't play"he said while moving his eyebrows
I laughed
"Thanks . I saw you and jaeyla too and I could tell she likes you." I said while poking him playfully
" well I really like her and wanted to know if you could get her to go on a date with me"
"Sure but first ask king if yall can come with us tomorrow and I'll Handel the rest"
"But what if he says no" he asked
" as scared as he was in the hallway he's gonna want someone to go with him"I stated
