Twinkle, twinkle little star,
I think I know what you are.
Sphere of plasma floating in the sky,
Having temperatures very high.

Appearing like little dots,
You are actually big and hot.
Immensely distant from the Earth,
formed billions of years before our birth.

The Sun is our closest star,
Others are really very far.
That is why; the Sun looks so big and bright,
providing us with heat and light.

Thought most stars may look alike,
Some are dim and some are bright.
They are different in size and color too.
They can be white, red, orange or blue.

Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Mars;
These planets also seem like stars.
They helped us to find our way,
Reflecting sun's light from far, far away.

We are still amazed by watching the star,
Though we all know what you are.
Releasing light and energy in the space,
Showing us wonderful things to gaze.

Twinkle, twinkle little star,
I think I know what you are.
Sphere of plasma floating in the space,
Filling our heart with wonder and amaze.
