In the End, I wore a Silver backless dress that hugged my body perfectly. My hair are in its natural wave and I only wear Red lipstick and powder as my make up.
The party came by a blur, all I remember is Mom dragging me to the table where her friends were. She send me one last glare before smiling fakely.
"Ladies and Gentleman, this is my One and only Daughter, Lloirice Reignelle Hussein. And Love, these are my Friends." She said sweetly that I almost puke in disgust. I plastered a smile and greeted them good evening. After that Mom dragged me again.. Honestly, if she wasn't my Mother, I would surely smack her face real hard..
"Be good Reign or else.." She warned before we stopped on a table where my Dad is seating, talking to a Man -probably one of his business partner, beside him. They were laughing about something. Mom cleared her throat and the two of them looked up. Dad and the Man beside him smiled at me warmly.
"Honey, you look beautiful tonight." Dad said directly to me not bothering sending Mom a look.
"Thank you Dad." I smiled back.
"Have a seat, and Hon, this is Ethan Schmidt, Ethan this is my Daughter, Reign." He introduced me to his friend and I smile warmly.
"Good Evening Mr. Schmidt." I said politely. He smile and wave his hand.
"Drop the Mr, just call me Ethan or Dad, after all you're going to be my Daughter-in-law." He said and I gulp. You mean, it's his Son whom I'm marrying?! Gosh. Well, he is handsome.. With his Beautiful Bluish-gray eyes and Messy Blonde hair, I do hope his Son is Way hotter than him.
"Okay, Ethan." I said, rather dryly.
Mom nudge me on the side and I force myself not to straggle her.
"My Wife need to use the washroom, so she'll be back soon." Ethan said. And on cue, a beautiful, Sophisticated Woman appear beside him.
"I'm sorry it took me so long, Elton is being stubborn again, I will have to drag him here in the table." Mrs. Schmidt said, dramatically placing her hands on her forehead. She didn't notice Me and Mom and when she does, her eyes widened and she quickly composed herself.
"Reena! You're here.. And who's this lovely girl beside you?" She beam and smile warmly.
"Oh, this is my Daughter, Reign, and Reign, this is Sally, Ethan's wife." Mom introduced us.
"Good evening Mrs. Schmidt." I said and Ethan snort as well as Sally.
"Oh phu-lease.. Just call me Sally or Mom, anyways you're going to be my future Daughter-in-law!" She giggled and I smile.
They're so sweet, unlike my parent.
"Okay Sally."
And so we started Chatting and laughing, Sally and Ethan were so warm and simple. They don't fake smile nor care about sophistication. The night is getting airy, and when 12 midnight came.. Mom dragged in front where a table for two is set..
"You'll get to meet your Fiancé." Mom whisper and glare at me before walking back to her chair.
The light went off and suddenly a spotlight was focused on me.. I then felt nervous as another spotlight came. Focusing on the guy who's walking towards me, he's holding a bouquet, his face is blank. I think he didn't like the idea of getting engaged to a stranger as well. Well its good right? I mean.. The feeling is mutual.
Though Elton is Handsome, and way, way hotter than I thought. Masculine body, messy brown hair, beautiful face And his Enchanted Bluish-gray eyes. I still don't want to get married. I have dreams and I still need to travel around the world. I'm not ready yet. I'm still young to get married.
"Here." He said and gave me the bouquet. He tried to smile but it dropped right away. He seat beside me and the rest is blur since I didn't give much attention to what's going on around me. All I remember is Elton is kneeling In front of me and slid a ring in my finger..
