Guys, I never said I would quit or delete the book.

I simply said that I will not upload until the target is met. Before this, I still uploaded even when you didn’t meet the target, but now I simply can’t.

And the main reason? The toxicity from some of you.

1. I have another book with far more reads than this one.

But the readers there? They are understanding, kind, and patient. They don’t throw attitude or tantrums. They respect my efforts.

2. Kiara readers, on the other hand…

The moment I show even a slight delay or disappointment, I get bashed as if I’m obligated to write for you. Let me be clear—I am NOT liable to entertain or write for anyone.

A few months ago, my health issues got so overwhelming that I nearly quit writing. But many of you requested me to continue and agreed to slow updates. And even now, despite my health issues, I still uploaded chapters without waiting for the target to be met. But the one time I say I won’t? Suddenly, you start pointing fingers at me?

If I update on time—you appreciate me.
If I delay—I get hate comments.
Is that fair?

To my genuine readers:

This truly hurts. But listen—I could have easily put this book on a paid platform and uploaded it there. Yet, I didn’t, just for you. How much more do you expect me to sacrifice?

I understand your love for the book, but shouldn’t you also understand my perspective? Did I say I won’t upload? No. I said complete the target, and I will upload.

Am I the only author who sets such conditions? If a more famous author does it, you won’t say a word. You won’t dare bash them because they have a bigger reader base. But because I’m still in my early stage, you think you can pour all your frustration on me?

Is this fair?

You read for free. At least value the author’s effort. We are not machines churning out stories on demand.

You’re reading a mature story—then be mature enough to understand and respect the person putting in the effort for you. That’s the bare minimum.

And yet, you don’t even vote.

I still let it go. But hate comments, just because of a delay?

I started this book just a few months ago, yet my other book’s readers wait patiently. They have been like a support system, which is why, even if they don’t complete the target, I still upload—because at least they are respectful.

And here, Kiara readers have been so toxic that sometimes, I genuinely feel like deleting the book.

If this hurts you, I’m sorry. But I have endured so much toxicity in just six chapters. And I won’t stay silent about it anymore.
