Part 6; "Finally...we're done."

I was bruised, my sides ached. Ketchum and I have been at it for a while now, and nether of us have given up. 'I will win this! Don't doubt it!' I thought as I landed another punch on him. I seen Dawn in the background looking at me. She looked worried, and so did Serena. "Don't worry, please...I'll be fine.." I thought to myself again, as Ketchum caught me off guard and punched me again, causing me to fall to the ground, but I got straight back up. "Don't you ever...ever...think about laying another hand on her again....she is to precious for you to mess with her....SHE DESERVES BETTER THAN YOU, YOU FREAKING ASS!" I punched him, causing him to land on the ground, and I turned around, Dawn is looking at me. I looked at her, as I started walking toward her. "D-Daw-" I got cut off by her hugging me. "Paul...thank you..." She said, as I felt tears fall down on my shoulder. I smiled slightly and hugged her back. Little did I know, Ketchum got back up, and punched me in the back. My grip on Dawn slipped and I fell to the ground, only to get back up. "Damn, he got me off guard.." I thought to myself as I look at him. He looked at me with this stare that could kill me, if looks could kill. I smirked at him, and he started talking. "Paul, I freaking hate you. Your a bastard, and you don't deserve Dawn ether.." I heard him say calmly, but with a tint of anger in his voice. When I heard the last part, my whole body froze, I looked like I was planning murder, a dark tint in my eyes. "....." Ketchum looked at me, with a smirk on his face. "What? Not gon-" His sentence got cut off by Dawn coming up and punching him in the stomach. Her eyes were filled with rage, I could see it. "Ash Ketchum...you don't say that Paul doesn't deserve me...I'm the one who will say if he does or not." Dawn's voice was cold, she was in a mood where I don't interfere. I slowly backed away as she picked up Ash, and looked him in the eyes. "Finally, we're done." She said to him as she dropped him back to the ground, and walked over to me. "Thank you, Paul." Dawn looked into my eyes, and she kissed me. I blushed madly, but I returned the kiss. It was a short kiss, but it felt like it went on for ages. Serena smiled at us, and then walked over to Ketchum. "You are just...a selfish jerk....." She said, looking him in the eye. "Dawn never was happy...with you....but she's now happy with someone else..." Serena smiled at us again, then back at him. "Never come near any of us again..." She told him, as she got up and walked back toward us. Dawn, Sere, and I walked out, leaving him in the floor. Finally, he's done.
