The soft glow of dawn crept through the paper windows, casting a golden hue over the quiet chamber. Hye-In stirred, her breath uneven as remnants of a dream clung to her mind like morning mist. She had seen him again,Chung Myung. his laughter ringing through the peach blossom trees of Mount Hua. In the dream, they had raced through the courtyard, his small hand grasping hers as they ran beneath the falling petals.
His smile had been carefree, untouched by the burdens of war and responsibility. But then, as dreams often do, it faded.
Hye-In sat up, blinking away the lingering emotions.
" It was just a dream."
She let out a breath and pushed aside the thin blanket. There was no time to dwell on fleeting memories. Morning training awaited.
Stepping onto the training grounds, she stretched her limbs, the cool mountain air filling her lungs. The disciples were already beginning their morning drills, their swords cutting through the air in disciplined arcs.
but after 3 hours of training ,Her eyes scanned the familiar faces, searching. And then she realized ,Chung Myung wasn't here.Frowning, she crossed her arms.
He should be training by himself ,again but it should be over by now.
" why hasn't he come back, yet??"
She considered going after him, but before she could decide, a familiar voice called out.
"Hye-In!"
She turned to see Yoon Jong, jogging toward her.
"The second-class disciples are coming back today," he announced.
"They should be arriving soon."
Her eyes widened slightly. The second-class disciples had been away on an extended mission, training outside the sect for months.
"They're already on their way?" she asked.
Yong Joon nodded. "Yeah. Let's go. We might be punished if we're late."
"Then let's go."she has been curiously about the second-class disciples and wanting to meet them.
When Hye-In and Yong joon arrived sect leader , elders and a few disciples have already arrived. After sometimes everyone are here, including chung Myung who came with Jo Gol.
" I'm so curious about the second-class disciples" Hye-In said to Chung Myung who stand beside her.
" there is nothing to curious about them" remind of what happened earlier with Baek Cheon ,he doesn't want to see them at all. (in manwha, he went to drink and meet baek Cheon)
"What's with your tone?" Hye-In frowned.
"They're coming."
"Open the gate!"
The newly built gate opened to the left and right. Soon, Mount Hua's second-class disciples entered the scene, draped in black robes.
"Oh!"
"Look at the change in atmosphere."
"It's really amazing."
The Un sasuks admired them and applauded. The elders also welcomed them with happy faces.
There was only one person with a dull face.
'When will this end?'
Chung Myung wanted to go eat.
Baek Cheon, who led the disciples, responded to everyone with a dazzling smile.
'Wow, look at this.'
The moment he stepped forward, the younger disciples gasped. Tall, confident, with the air of a noble swordsman, Baek Cheon looked like he had just stepped out of a heroic legend.
