My family is really small it's just me,twin brother , mom and Eloise our faithful housekeeper you could say she is our  aunt she has been in our family before Carter and I were born. My mother is a CEO in one of the best beauty companies in our little town Cimmeria , our father is another topic we don't really talk about in our family .

"He left you that's  all you need to know " those are my mother's famous words whenever we  ask her about our father. As i  click open the brown front door of our house iam met by Max and Carter by  the doorway .

"Takeaways mom is working late again" Carter quickly says as he takes his navy blue coat from the couch yeah his untidy like that, iam still mesmerised by the presence of  my boyfriend in front of me I mean he should have told me he was home don't get me wrong iam not the clingy type of girl but getting a heads up would have been nice.

"Let me get me change my uniform than we can all go and buy takeaways "  I said to the  boys as I tried to go pass my boyfriend without looking at him because he will see how angry I was at him.

"That won't be necessary  cendy me and your brother can handle this, you need to relax you must be tired from school " Max quickly chipped in the conversation as i was about to go up the stairs ,Without saying another word I carried on  walking up the stairs after max's protest now I was really angry at him why doesn't he want me to go  with them?  I decided to change my uniform and grab something to eat just to distract myself I really don't wanna make a big deal of max's protest maybe he wanted me to rest after being in school the whole day he was caring like that. As I opened the fridge to get something to eat I noticed my mother's  note on the fridge

Munchies
I have a late meeting today , please get takeaways because I gave aunt Eloise a day off today

Mom is working late Again she's been coming home late for the last few months , Carter has been asking her about this meetings but she never bothers to answer us , mom is a very busy women running 'core  was a very hard job with all the models going bizarre over the latest trend of makeup and all that girl stuff.I decided to grab a coke and some pop corn as i prepared to watch one of my best series The vampire  diaries,  I sat on the couch waiting for my brother with the takeaways.
"No , dude I told you I can't tell her that she will kill me Carter" the whispers coming from the front door disturbed me from my favourite scene where Damon tells Elena he loves her I decided to get closer to the source of whispers

"Cendy is gonna kill you when she hears from somebody else anyway and I think you should tell her today you have one week left anyway you might as well spend it with her dude" I heard their footsteps getting  closer so I quickly ran to the tv room to resume my vampire diaries but I still couldn't understand Carter and Max's conversation.

What isn't he telling me?one week left until what exactly?  My mind was filled with these questions that i didn't realise Max sitting next to me with the remote in his hand.
"Cendy you okay?"  He humbly asked as I tried to erase the conversation I eavesdropped earlier trying on  one of my best fake smiles I turn to look Max in the eye

"Iam okay hun , so what did you get for today's  supper? I asked him trying to distract him before he notices that there is something wrong . I took the remote from his hand so that I can lower the volume of the tv

"You know the basics chinese, can we talk?" He said as he ran a hand through his perfect hair which meant he was nervous so this might be serious , I took his soft hand and led him upstairs to my bedroom it's the  only place I knew we will have some privacy for the "talk" . Once we enter my bedroom he started pacing around the room nearly knocking my alarm clock  on the floor mouthing a sorry after the accident he was making me anxious and I couldn't take it anymore

"whats wrong Max?"  I asked desperately trying to get him to talk

"Iam moving to Chicago with my father" he said sitting on my purple covered bed

"What?why?where?how?huh?when?" The questions rolled out of my tongue so quickly I couldn't even get a breather in between, he can't go we celebrating our anniversary soon and besides that he will be halfway across the country I won't be able to see him until school holidays and that's  if he is going to come back to visit his mom.

"Babe please  calm down , let me explain"  he said as he stood up from the bed to stand next to me by the bedroom  window. I couldn't believe he was leaving just like that ." My father is sick and I need to take care of him cendy please understand, I also don't want to go but I have to you of all people know how important my father is to me ." He said as he tried to hold back his tears , I was sobbing by the time he was done I couldn't accept that he will be gone I was so used to seeing him everyday and now it will take months for me to see him .

"When?"I asked the only question I had in my mind right this sad moment
"Iam going at the end of this week , I just need to fix my varsity transfer documents " he said wiping the tears that were now rolling down my face fiercely he gave me a reassuring hug than planted a kiss on my now trembling red lips it immediately sent shivers and warmth through my whole body.

" I mean when are you coming back? Will you  come back during the school holidays? When will I see you again?" I asked him every question that was troubling my mind the moment he told me he was leaving.

" I don't know babe" he said giving me a tight hug , you could see he was upset by the news too but there was nothing we could have done he had to take care of his father his the only family he has.
