Taking a walk in the forest late at night was always my favorite thing to do. Feeling the wind on my back, hearing the crunch of leaves underneath my paws, and listening to the midnight creatures roaming around are always the best part. As I was taking a sip of water, I heard a twig snap, which made me wary around my surroundings. Turning my head back to the water, thinking it was nothing; a black wolf jumped out of nowhere and attacked me. Its bit my neck so fast that I didn’t even had time to react. The only thing I remember was a brown wolf with the most mesmerizing green eyes, removing the other wolf away from me.

Waking up in an unfamiliar place really ain’t the most ideal way to wake up, especially when you were just attacked the night before, so just imagine my reactions when woke up. I checked my body to make sure I didn’t have any marks or bruises and weirdly I don’t. I tiptoed to the door because this house might be full of weres, slowly opened the door and sneaked down the stairs.

Wowed, this house was huge, like damn! To the right, I think, is the living room. It was bigger than my whole freaking house. It had a huge ass chandler in the middle of the room; the carpet was some kind of cream color, which looked lovely with the velvet red couch.

I was examining the living room, when I heard footsteps. I started looking for places to hide but everything in here were too small to cover me fully. As I heard the footsteps getting closer, I panicked and hid behind the curtains. I was scared outta my mind thinking it was the wolf that attacked me last night.

As the persons face came into view, I couldn’t help but release a gasp. The man was beautiful with his shaggy brown hair, hypnotizing green hazel eyes, and tan and muscular body. He had the jaw of a model, tone and muscular. It seems like he was sniffing the air in search of me.

"Mate, I know you're in the room. No need to hide." He said soothingly. I almost melted by his voice, husky but at the same time calming. Weird I know but anyway did he just say "mate"?! Yes he said matte you dimwit. He is our MATE! My wolf annoyingly said.

"Finda!" He said revealing me from the curtains.

"Well I guess you did, now can you tell me what I’m doing here?" I said coming out the curtains.

He held my hands and drew me closer to him. He started tracing my lips to my jaw softly while he said "You don’t remember what happened yesterday?"

His touch left an electrified feeling on my skin, wanting more. “All I remember was getting attacked by a black wolf while I was drinking water by the stream-" he quietly growled at that "and then some big brown wolf, which is you, saved me." He smiles at that though and his smile lifted his whole face from the bad boy look he carries to a boyish type of look.

"You're safe now and I would never let anyone hurt, mate." He said creasing my face with his thumb. Next thing I know we’re both leaning in about to kiss when an unearthly voice echo throughout the house.
