Chp-18

POV:

Jake slowly stirred awake, the soft warmth of the morning light creeping through the curtains and kissing his skin. He could feel the steady rhythm of Heeseung's breathing against his, his chest rising and falling under his head as he rested against him. His arm was draped over Jake, holding him close, and for a moment, neither of them moved, savoring the peaceful silence of the early morning.

“Mmm, morning,” Heeseung mumbled, his voice thick with sleep, a smile tugging at his lips as he lazily ran his fingers through Jake's hair.

“Morning,” he whispered back, his voice soft and sleepy, as he nestled closer to Seung, feeling the comforting weight of his embrace. “Are we awake, or still dreaming?”

“Still dreaming,” he murmured, his lips brushing against Jake's forehead. “But I don’t mind, as long as I’m with you.”

Jake let out a contented sigh, his heart swelling with affection. He closed his eyes again, his fingers tracing little patterns on Heeseung's chest. “You’re the best part of every dream.”

Seung chuckled softly, the sound making Jake smile, even though his eyes were closed. “Guess we’re both lucky then,” Heeseung said, his voice still tinged with sleepiness. “Best part of my day, every day.”

They stayed there for a few more moments, lost in the sweet quiet of the morning, wrapped up in each other’s warmth, both too comfortable to let go just yet. The world could wait.

Jake's pov:

We finally decided to wake up and eat breakfast. After that, we decide to go on a cute little date. It has been so long since Seungi and I got to spend some quality time together. He has been busy w his job and occasional therapy sessions and I have also been busy with my work and taking care of our house. Oh! Right I forgot to say, me and Heeseung finally decided to move in together!!! Amazing right?!

Heeseung's pov:

It’s Sunday morning, and for the first time in what feels like ages, I’m not rushing to meet a deadline or buried under piles of work. The past few weeks have been a blur of stress and late nights, but today, it’s different. Today, I get to spend it with Jake. We decided to go on a coffee date, Just the two of us, no distractions.

I look at him as he yaps about his stressful week while we wait for our coffee to arrive. There's something about him, the way he walks, the slight curve of his smile when our eyes meet, that makes my heart flutter every time. We’ve had a few dates before, but there’s something about this morning that feels more special.

"Hey Seungi are you even listening?!" "Sorry love, I got distracted by your magnificent beauty" oh, how I love to see him get shy after I compliment him. "Ya! Stop it and listen to what I'm saying" "sure, my love" I smiled at him and he smiled back.

We kept chattering non stop about how busy our schedules are, our silly moments, stressful weeks, sharing jokes and laughing together etc etc.It’s funny how simple moments like this—quiet, relaxed, and just being in each other’s company—can feel so perfect.

The waiter finally brought our coffee and Jake thanked him. We sit in a comfortable silence for a few minutes, sipping our coffee, just watching the world outside pass by. The occasional car, the distant chatter of people waking up, the city slowly coming to life. It’s peaceful, but what makes it even better is that I’m here with Jake.

I glance over at him, catching him looking at me with a playful grin. “What?”

He leans in, lowering his voice just a little. “You’ve got a bit of whipped cream on your nose.”

I laugh, reaching up to wipe it off, but he’s already there, gently brushing his thumb across my face. His touch lingers for a second longer than necessary, and I can feel the warmth of his skin on mine. There’s something about that touch, that little moment, that makes my heart race a little faster.

“Thanks,” I say, feeling my smile soften. I can’t help it. Jake has this way of making even the smallest things feel significant. “I got you,” he replies, winking at me before taking another sip of his drink. I chuckled, he is just so cute jsnskdbd!

We sit in silence for a while before I decided to speak up, "Jake" "hmm?" "Promise me you will stay with me forever, during my ups and downs, during my sorrow and joy, during my silly tantrums and etc moments of my life" "I promise, I will  stay with you forever as long as you love me right" "of course" we smiled at each other with love in our eyes.
