Blaine's breath sounds shaky as he begins to say, "I can't believe this is what you've picked to do tonight."
Mary smirks. "We're far from campus, so we can't get in trouble. Plus, these cars haven't been used in ages. I've done this before, it's okay."
As Mary pulled out the different colors of spray paint, Blaine kept shaking his head and started to breathe heavily.
"For a girl with a strict life, you sure know a lot about mischief," Blaine laughs lightly.
Mary shrugs. "You know what they say. Strict parents raise sneaky kids."
"Mary Magdalene," Blaine shakes his head, putting his hands on his hips. "I am in shock."
Mary giggles and says, "I promise you, this will be fun!"
With the blue spray paint in Mary's hand, and the red one in Blaine's, they hop from car to car, making beautiful art. And after two long, laughable hours of spray painting car art, the two do the last car together.
On the hood of the car, it showed, M+B
"That is, by far, the coolest car we've done tonight," Blaine smiles. "I love it."
Mary smiles and lightly laughs. "I told you this is great! I've always--"
Suddenly, a flash of light turned on and the two hid behind the car.
"Seth, will you look at this!" a deep, raspy voice yells, flashing his phone light around the lot.
"I told you to check the damn lot today!" voice number two shouts.
"I did, Seth," voice number one says to, apparently, Seth. "It wasn't even three hours ago."
"Way to go, Mary Magdalene," Blaine whispers. "Your plan backfired, and now we will probably get arrested."
Mary stifled a laugh. "No, we won't, just stay with me. We're gonna get out of here."
"Alright," Seth sighs. "I'll call the police, see if they can do anything about it."
The flash goes away, and the footsteps of Seth and the other voice fade more and more. Mary signals to Blaine, and they quietly sneak out of the lot.
Sirens alarm a few miles away, and the two knew they were headed here.
"Wait," Mary stopped as the two were about to dash away. "We need to take a selfie."
"Are you crazy?" Blaine says, looking back at the lights of the police cars. "They're right there, we're gonna get caught!"
"No, we won't," Mary continues, "and that's what we want! We want the lights and the lot behind us, so we can remember what we were actually doing."
After moments of convincing, Blaine and Mary finally took a quick selfie. And as they were running away from the lot, Mary said, "That one's a keeper."
