As i leaned across the bus stop post i could feel my lungs struggling to breathe in oxygen after I ran so fast after hearing about a lifelong dream opportunity. I was still holding onto my bus pass very tight. 10 minutes went by of waiting. "I have a feeling because i want to get home so badly and speak to Milly and Tommy the bus seems to be taking longer" i said to myself quietly half laughing.
The bus finally came after i sat down on the curb "typical" i giggled to myself. I showed the bus driver my pass and went and sat right at the front so i could sprint off home. The bus was quite quiet for a friday afternoon but i prefer empty buses you can get all sorts of people on buses!
My bus stop was in sight so i pressed the scruffy red button that tells the driver to stop at the next stop. I pulled my dance bag up on my shoulder ready to run home, the bus slowly pulled up and made a loud squeaky noise and the rusty doors opened up and it was as if the doors were a gate keeping lions behind, because i sprinted out like a rocket being launched!
Lucky for me the bus stop is at the bottom of my street so all i had to do is sprint straight. It got to house 27 which is my house with the bright red door. I yanked on the handle and ran to my room heading for the house phone. First i clicked on Milly's number and then clicked add another contact... of course Tommy and it started to ring them both.
