Chapter 2

I woke up to hearing my alarm blasting in my ear, I opened my eyes to see Aidan sound asleep. I quickly changed my clothes and grabbed my phones and keys and moved slowly to the stairs without waking my stepdad, once I made it outside I headed to school.

"Okay class we have a new student joining us today, what's your name darling?"

"Amanda George"

I have to be honest she was really pretty, I quickly looked at my body to hers, My boobs were smaller to hers and my waist was to tiny compared to hers her nails looked perfectly glossed while mine chipped and broke off, her eyes were a perfect shade of baby blue and short black hair and a flawless face. I had poop brown eyes and medium blonde hair with my face full of freckles. The more I looked at her than to me I was disappointed in what I looked like.

" Alright Amanda we'll have Mia show you around the school, Mia may you please come to my desk"

I stood up shocked I wouldn't think she would choose me to show her around, is it because my grades are better than everyone else's? Or that I'm the only one who pay's attention to her Power Point's?

Mrs. Norton (Sorry for the name I had nothing else to think of) wrote passes for me and Amanda.

"This is the Lunch room where people split up to hang with their friends and eat, the door right next to the bathroom is the music room/poetry. The main office is on The Second floor an- Let me see your schedule.

" You have three classes with me English, Algebra, and World History"

"Do you think we can be friends? I know we just met but your the only one hasn't judged me yet" she had hope in her eyes I could tell she hasn't had many friends before I nodded my head and she had the biggest smile on her face.

After school was over I quickly took out my phone to text my mother I was heading to work and wouldn't be out in till later on tonight.

Once I reached Wal-Mart I changed my clothes and started going up and down isels putting things back and reorganizing the products. I heard things being dropped behind me and found a tall figure quickly grabbing whatever it is he dropped I decided to help him because he seemed to have a lot of things with him after I was finished I looked up to see Calum Hood, my eyes widened when I was about to scream he put his hand on my mouth and told me not to scream. I nodded and he let go

" Your your Calum Hood from 5 seconds of summer"

"Yes I am look you can't tell anyone I'm hear I'm jus trying to buy some stuff Luke needs"

"Luke needs a magazine with naked girls and condoms?"

He blushed and looked away I smiled and told him I wouldn't tell anyone his secret, once I turned away to continue working he grabbed my shoulder.

"I never got your name"

"Mia, Mia Staper"

"Well Mia Staper thank you for not freaking out as much and for that I will give you my number"

I was stunned he's giving me his number? The Calum Hoods is giving me his number!

He gave me a small folded up paper and walked away, I stood their shocked and felt like I was going to explode I thought this was a dream and quickly pinched myself and man did that hurt I knew this wasn't a dream it's reality and I really met Calum and got his number only for not freaking out as much.

After work I saved Calum's number in my phone and looked at it while I walked home, once I reached my house I heard screaming and glass breaking I sighed and walk inside biggest mistake in my life.

My stepfather walked towards my reeked of booze and hit me hard on my face he yelled in my ear and started hitting my over and over again I hard my mother's pleads to let me go which works.

"Go to your room, I have to handle your mother you get no Dinner you need to lose the weight anyways"

With that I ran to my room and slammed it shut and locked it, I went to my bathroom which is connected to my room and searched for my sharp friend once I found it I put it up to my wrist and started slicing one after another. Five on my right wrist and Six on my left after I quickly cleaned it up and hid my blade I changed and laid in my bed wishing for a better life. My eyes started to drift off and instead of seeing my room I saw darkness.
