Hey guys, sorry for the long wait. It wasn't supposed to be that long, but I have this thing called school that doesn't seem to care about your fanficwritingschedule. Rude much, I know. Anyways, thank you so much for reading this; I hope you are enjoying it. *Imagine the smiling monkey emoji here* (I promise you that the rest of the chapter isn't gonna be as much of a train wreck as this rabbling here). Warning: I wrote the end of this chapter after having been awake for 40 hours, so it's a good chance it's terrible, cuz I haven't even read through it. Just fyi. Sorry about that. Hope you enjoy it nonetheless

What Castiel and Anna usually just referred to as "the bar" was actually a local roadhouse named Harvelle's Roadhouse. They both found that quite a mouthful, however, so neither ever bothered referring to it by its real name. Therefore, they had renamed it "the bar" instead, just between the two of them. They both knew which place the other was talking about whenever they mentioned "the bar" anyways. They hardly ever went to any other bar together.
They'd first discovered the old shack one night several years ago. It had been there forever already back then, and it certainly didn't look any better today. Nevertheless, the place offered delicious food and a very ideal location – just there in the outskirts of the town. Therefore, the state of the building was just a tiny bagatelle, which was easily ignored. Nobody could accuse neither Castiel nor his sister of being snobs.
It didn't take long before the bar had become their regular place to hang out in town. Moreover, they had over the years come to know the owner - Ellen Harvelle - really well, and it was always a pleasure seeing her again. Even from their very first visit, the woman had greeted them with a warm and sincere smile. She used to joke about how they were responsible for half the roadhouse's revenue, and for that, she should appoint them guests of honour. "I could hang your picture on the wall", she once laughed.
As soon as he walked through the door this day, Castiel started untying the scarf from around his neck, folding it sloppily in his hands. The bar was always properly heated all the way through the winter, so he wouldn't need it in there. He really hated the cold, so that was just another plus with the place.
As usually, Ellen spotted Castiel first.
"Well hello", she called, making Castiel's head whip around, his eyes searching for the source of the sound. He quickly found her in the corner of the bar, talking to two regulars in their mid-thirties. Castiel didn't know their names, but he could have recognized them anywhere, as he had seen their faces a thousand times before.
He greeted Ellen, and nodded politely to the men, just as he used to. They nodded politely back at him, just as they used to.
"I was waiting for you to arrive", Ellen explained, taking a few steps towards Castiel as she spoke, probably to not have to scream into her costumers' ears. "Your sister's already here."
She jabbed a thumb towards the other end of the bar, in the direction of Castiel and Anna's usual table. When Castiel followed her gesture, he could spot his little sister at the table, her back to him. She sat hunched forwards, with that bad posture he always scolded her for. She was going to get back-problems, he always said, but she would just roll her eyes at him and then hunching even further forwards to annoy him.
"Thanks Ellen", Castiel said to the bartender, starting towards his sister.
"I'll bring your usual in a few", Ellen called after him.
