A couple days after the battle with the Shadow Lords we traveled back to Redmond where we had to meet a spy in the sewers. "What is that gunk?" "I don't know just don't touch it" Syn told me.
As soon as we met the spy he got to talking. I guess he didn't like the sewers either. "The Shadow Lords are planning to attack the Glass Castle in one week. They have dozens of troops with many different abilities and skills." "Any numbers?" I asked. "Around 1,000 of each type of troop. And there are four sections of troops." Well this is great. We have to fight four thousand people.
Then we heard a hiss. Everyone turned around and saw a giant alligator behind us and we ran for our lives with the spy gasping for breath in the back.
Once we got back to camp we made a plan. We would round up the guards and train them in more weaponry, magic, bows, swords, daggers, etc. For the battle. Then positions for the guards and where we would be when the Shadow Lords arrived. After we were ready for battle.
