The Letter

I took Vanessa to my house, and we headed up the stairs. I grabbed my Laptop, and hers. (She had left it here the night before) We did all the research we can on the house but couldn't find anything except for the builders name "Greg Hudgens" "My Dad?" Vanessa said looking as if she was lied to her whole life. "Why, wouldn't he tell me? .." As she began to cry. I held her tight and told her "Maybe there was a great explanation as to why.. He probably knew something and wanted to keep you away from it." I had to hold her the whole night because she started to get scared, and didn't want to go home that night.

The next morning I got up while Vanessa was still sleeping and took my shower, and did my hair and such. When I returned she was gone, and the only thing on the bed was a letter saying "I need to go somewhere, to do something. I don't want you to get hurt, I need to find the truth about your house.." I threw my towel out the door hitting my little brother by accident. "What was that for?!" He said. I slammed the door in his face. I got dressed, and went to Vanessa's house but her Mom told me she wasn't there, so I tried to think of places we always went together. The park, The theater, The abandoned train station, and The Woods where we talked and laughed. I knew exactly where she would be...
