HELLO GUYS!
I know it's been forever and stuff but what can I say? I'm on vacation in the UK right now and was enjoying myself too much to post for a while. Sorrrrrryyyy :(
But anywho I finally came around to doing it because I felt so bad getting all these comments and messages to post and stuff haha and I kept putting people off. But yeah. I do NOT LIKE THIS CHAPTER AT ALL. I THINK IT SUCKS. But please read it and leave lots of comments. I seriously love reading and replying to them so much. I love you all and bye :D
-PagliSabah scowled to herself as she walked-actually, more like stomped-across the shoreline, letting the wet sand fly up around her as she dug her feet into it.
It was cold and gross, not to mention stinking of seaweed and fish, but she managed to ignore it to the best of her ability, allowing her thoughts to block out most of what was going on around her. She was vaguely aware that there were people walking and swimming and sunbathing farther up the beach, but she was too preoccupied by her muddled mind to pay much attention to them.
All she could think about was that dumb, idiotic, nuisance of a guy, Salim.
How could he!? How dare he!? How did he even develop the nerve!? Did he really think that he would simply ask for her forgiveness and she would just give it to him? That simply? No way. Never. Not after everything he had done.
She would admit that she felt sort of guilty not doing so, but didn't he deserve it? After all, if she were just to let him back in and forgive him so easily as she had done in the past, he would just revert to taking advantage of her again. Wouldn't he? He had done it before. So what was stopping him from doing it now?
Sighing, Sabah crossed her arms over her chest and narrowed her eyes against the strong ocean current in the air. It was blowing her scarf wildly around her face and irritating her to no end, but she ignored it, trying to keep her focus on how much she despised her so-called husband. It was-in the end-his fault that she had had to leave the room in the first place.
He had just made her so angry, what with all his apologizing and empty promises to never do anything horrible to her again. Pfft. Yeah right. As if that was ever going to happen.
Sighing loudly once again, she slowed to a stop and sat down on a patch of dry sand, being careful not to let her clothes get wet in the process. Trying her hardest to forget about Salim, she pulled her legs close to her chest and rested her arms against her knees, staring out at the clear, beautiful water.
It was, however, but a few moments later, that she suddenly felt something sharp and hard collide into her back, knocking her from her place and causing her to tumble forward into the water. Gasping at the prickling, painful droplets of what seemed like ice attacking her skin and soaking her to the very bone, Sabah quickly stood to her feet in the rolling, frothing waves. Immediately, her teeth began chattering uncontrollably as she looked around for what had crashed into her. A loud noise sounding much like a group of feet running through the water, however, made her turn to look behind her. It didn't take long for her eyes to fall upon a few guys around her age carrying surfboards and dressed in the typical surfer wear, their wet hair and tanned skin on display for everyone around them to see. They were running farther away from her towards the open water, their feet causing splashes and noise to fly up around them and carry to her.
"Oh shit," one of them suddenly spoke, coming to a halt in the knee deep waves. His friends stopped around him and turned to give him what seemed like a confused look.
"That girl."And suddenly, all their eyes were on her. Feeling her cheeks burn, she quickly averted her gaze, trying and failing to make her teeth stop chattering.
