"Shawn, who on earth would paint a bathroom neon yellow?!?" I yelled at Shawn as I ran around the store after him. Shawn and I are at the paint store picking out paint for my house. After he got settled in, I told him I had a few errands to run and that I would be back later. He insisted that he come with me because and I quote, "You cannot coordinate worth crap your house needs to be saved by Shawn Smith himself!!!" So here we are at the paint store, arguing about painting my bathroom neon yellow and me chasing Shawn around the store. He finally got tired and when I caught up to him, I held my hand out for the paint and impatiently tapped my foot on the ground.
"Fine. Yellow will be on your walls somewhere in your house! I will make it happen!!" He promised, as he handed me the can. I rolled my eyes at him and walked back to the painting area to look at more paint. I was looking for paint for my kitchen and came across a nice color and I really liked it. Only problem: It was yellow. I sighed in defeat and turned to Shawn.
"Alright, I am painting my kitchen Lemon Peel. Don't say one word or I will not hesitate to mess up that hair of yours." I said, humor and seriousness in my tone. He looked triumphiant as I grabed the paint sample and moved on to the next room. So far I had my bedroom, my bathroom, all the guest rooms, all of the bathrooms, the kitchen, my dinning room, my living room, my front room, and the dogs play room. Yes I gave my dogs a room. Sue me.
"How many more rooms Kiana?" Shawn asked.
"I just have to find paint for the theater room, the gym, the recording studio, and the laundry room." I said. I grabbed the paint samples for the last couple of rooms and walked over to the paint mixing guy. We waited for a few minutes before it was our turn. The paint mixing guy was an older man, not a day over fourty. I saw a little girl with auburn hair and emrald green eyes that was about eleven behind him, looking at Shawn and I with her little mouth open in awe.
"Daddy! Look! Its Shawn Mendes and Kiana Moon! I am your biggest fan, both of yours! Can I have your autograph?" She said. Shawn and I smiled at her and we each pulled out pens we always keep in our back pockets incase of times like this one.
"Sure honey, what is your name?" I asked her as she handed us each a piece of paper.
"My name is Selena! Selena Taylor!" She said with a giant grin on her face. I took the paper she handed me and wrote a special message to her on mine. I glanced at Shawn's to see he was doing the same. I put the cap back on my pen. She thanked us and ran off to another part of the store.
"Say, how much would it take for you two to sing at my princesses birthday party?" The older man asked us. Shawn and I looked at each other and smiled at the older gentleman.
"We won't charge you anything. When is her birthday?" I asked the man.
"Tomorrow, will you be ready by then? You will have to come near the end of presents because I want it to be a surprise for her." The man explained.
"That is totally fine! And just let us know what time. Here is our numbers and what is your name, sir?" Asked Shawn.
"My name is Mark and thank you so much for doing this, your paint is on the house." He said with a thankful smile and tone. We got the paint and waved at the girl and the man as we left the store.
When Shawn and I got home, we changed into clothes we could paint in and I pulled my hair up into a messy ponytail. My outfit was a hot pink tank under a grey sweatshirt with hot pink running shorts and my grey Nike tennis shoes. Shawn wore a red muscle shirt and black Nike basketball shorts and black and red Nike tennis shoes.
I bounded down the stairs to the living room, the first room we were going to paint. I found the right can of paint and dipped my brush in. Shawn found a brush and did the same thing. By the time the first coat was on, I had paint splatters all over my clothes and body because Shawn kept flipping his paint brush on me, we figured out what songs we were singing, and I realized I had no food in my fridge or in my kitchen and had no food for the wolf pups. So Shawn continued to paint as I left to run to the store.
I got out of my car and locked it as I walked inside of the store. I grabbed a basket and walked over to the noodle section. I grabbed the noodles I needed and walked to go get the sauce I need to make my signature spaghetti. I was too busy concentrating on finding the sauce that I didn't realize someone was running towards me. Suddenly, I was on the floor with a heavy weight on top of me, sparks were shooting throughout my body. I was having a hard time breathing and I noticed the weight on me was breathing heavily also. I looked up and was met by the most gorgeous brown eyes I have ever seen.
"I am so so so sorry! I didn't see you there and I probably should have. I was running from my best friend and I looked back to see if he was there and I forgot to check if there was someone in front of me! Gosh I sound so stupid. I am-" I cut the godly looking man off quickly.
"No blood no foul. Now if you could get off of me that would be great." I said annoyance in my voice. He quickly hopped off of me and pulled me up. I brushed myself off and turned on my heel to walk away.
"Wait! What's your name?" He hollered after me.
I turned around and smirked at him. "It's a pretty small town. Ask around." I hollered back with a smirk on my face. I turned on my heal and went to get hamburger meat and steak and headed to the checkout. I payed for everything and walked out to the car with a smile on my face.
