Luke's POV
Walking into this class i thought it would be pointless and boring, until she turned around. She was sitting in the back of the room, she had dirty blond hair and blue eyes.
It was the first day of my senior year, it wouldn't be so bad but it was my first day at a new school. My family and i had just moved from New Mexico to California, that was quiet a change! Coming from the nice quiet and calming into the loud and crowded city scared me! So to say the least i wasn't pleased to be here, until i saw her!
I walked in to the room and took the seat next to the blue eyed beauty. She glanced over to me, I shot her a quick smile and she smiled back. She had the prettiest smile, well she was beautiful all around, but for some reason it seemed to good to be true. At my old school i wasn't a guy that was athletic, i had a lot of friends but i never really had a girlfriend. I had crushes but not someone i could call mine.
I sat there in the room as peopl slowly made there way into the room. "RING," the bell rang. Everyone looked up and around the room as the class room door opened and in walked in an old man, he had a combover and beer belly. "Alright class put everything up and get out a piece notebook paper and a pen and copy everything down thats on the board, sense its the first day of school I'm going to take it easy on you so when you are done you may talk to the person sitting next to you." "Oh and I am Mr. Henry," I reached in my bag and pulled out a blue notebook and black pen. I looked over to the beauty sitting next to me as she pulled a note book out of her bag, i couldn't help but smile when I noticed her purple nail polish matched her top. I began writing the words that were on the board down in my notebook. I was just about to finish when I saw the blond hair beauty lay her pen down. I finished writing down the notes when i heard her speak, " those are some nice boots you are wearing there" "O-oh thanks," i stuttered. "No problem, you don't see many people here wearing boots like that, everyone here mainly wear the funky looking boots,"she spoke. "Yeah, im from the country and i practically live in my boots," I said. "Oh that's cool, my parents own a ranch about 80 miles to the west," she said. "cool," i said with a wink. We sat there in complete silence until i blurted out, "im Luke." She looked at me kinda in shock, "we'll its nice to meet you Luke, im Bailey!" "My pleasure miss Bailey" i ended with a wink.
Bailey's POV
I smiled when luke winked at me but on the inside I thought i was going to die. I've never really had a guy treat me like this. It felt nice but i figured it wouldn't last long. When guys get to know me they think im annoying and weird and distance them selves from me so im used to guys not talking to me.
"RING" the bell rung out. "Okay guys have a good first day, and see you tomorrow," Mr. Henry yelled as everyone filed out the door. I walked out into the not so crowded hallway and turned around in search for Luke, but i was sad when I saw no sign of him. I turned back around and headed to my next class.
The rest of the day went by in a blur. "RING" the last bell rung out. I picked my things up from my desk and headed to my car. I was just exiting the door when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around to see Luke, a smile fell on my lip "hi Luke" i said. "Hey bailey, i just wanted to say i hope you had a good first day of school and see you tomorrow. Bye " Luke added. I waved goodbye with a smile on my face. When i got to my car i unlocked it, opened the door, and got in. I sat my bag in the passenger seat and started my car. I waited for the traffic in the parking lot to die down before pulling out and driving to my house
