Friends and Enemies

Savannah's POV

*knock-knock*

I blew a strand of hair out of my face, irritated. I was just about to finish arranging everything, ugh!

I walked to my door and opened it.
"Yes?" I say coldly. My mismatched demon colored eyes meet warm brown ones.

Dr.Banner smiles shyly. "Hi, sorry. You're probably busy. Bye." I furrow my eyebrows and say, "Wait."

He turns back to me. "Sorry for being rude. I'm Savannah Vargas. I'm new."

He nods, "I know, I was going to ask you if you wanted a tour. I'm Br--"
"Dr.Bruce Banner. I know. I'm a huge fan, your work on Gamma Radiation and all." I finish.

Dr. Banner raises his eyebrows. "You? Are a fan of mine?"
I nod. "I enjoy learning. I also love reading."

He smiles. "So do you want to go on that tour?"
"Why not Dr.Banner?" I say. He raises his hand and says, "Call me Bruce."

After the tour Bruce showed me his lab. It was cool! I think he and I can become good friends.

I wander around the floor Pheonix and I share then decided to explore the floors Bruce hadn't showed me yet.

I went in to the elevator and looked at the numbers on the keypad and decided to go to the 40th floor - the very last floor which is located at the tippy top of the new and improved Avengers Tower.

It took quite a while to get there but I did. "Holy shit, I'm in Heaven....."

A FUCKING LIBRARY!!!! HOLY GOD ABOVE!!!

All around me....a forest of books! Imagine the library in Beauty and the Beast a zillion fucking times better and darker in color!

I walked around and went to the Children's section (I am delightfully surprised they have one). I looked around and finally spotted my favorite bedtime story - the story my mother used to read to me. The Velvetine Rabbit.

I opened the book and started reading while walking around the gigantic book shelves. Bad idea.

*crash*

"Ow!" I look up to see dark emerald green eyes staring at me. I stared back.

The god of misheif growled at me. "Get out of my mind you mewling quim!" He ordered harshly.

"I'll get of yours if you stop trying to get out of mine." I stated calmly, rising steadily.

"I do not take orders from a mere Midgardian peasant!"

My eyes glowed and I sent a jab to his mind. "Ahh!" Loki exclaimed placing a hand to his temple.

I smirk. "You are no better."
Loki glared at me and threw a dagger at me almost findind it's mark - my heart- but luckily my wings always have my back (no pun intended), whipping the blade away.

"You want a fight? I'll give you a fucking war." I threatened in a deadly manner, the feathers on my wings becoming sharper my eyes getting brighter.

Loki smiled his psychotic smile. "You are no match for a god."
My wings enclose my halfway, the points of the feathers directed at him.

"Bring it on Jotun."
He snapped at that and charged.
