My Insecure Love Life

Chapter 6

I lazily moaned as I slapped my alarm at my bedside table. It was 7:30 and cannot be late for my first day at school. I quickly got dressed in my skinny jeans and a tight button up front top and my converse. Not spending much time on my hair I grabbed my back pack and ran down stairs for a quick breakfast.

My eyes quickly scanned through the fridge as I thought about my day at the park yesterday. I smirked as I pulled out an orange juice and a slice of pizza.

"Dad,i'm ready",I yelled.

"I'll be there in a sec", he replied.

Finishing my slice of pizza I grabbed his keys and waited on him in the car. Sitting there for about 5 minutes I finally saw him running through the door with his untied tie around his neck.

"Dad  I'm gonna be late ",I pouted.

"Don't worry"

As he reversed out the drive way I thought about how my day at school would be.

'Would they like me or what If I fell in front of the cutest boy in school'

Many weird thoughts came across my mind. All this thinking came to an end when we pulled up in front of  my new school,Eagles Secondary School.

I gave my daddy a quick kiss, hearing the bell I hopped out of the car.

I Walked through the crowded halls as I could feel the stares of everyone upon me. I went to my locker ,scanned my schedule and headed for class.

'English, my favourite subject, with Mrs. Borasingh. I hope her classes are fun and not too boring'

I arrived quickly at the classroom, as my hand had a grip on the knob I slowly turned it Like I was about to open the door in a scary movie and expect to see some scary monster jump out.

It wasn't that bad after all because no one seemed to recognize when I entered. I scanned the colorful classroom for a seat as some one yelled 'new kid'.

Everyone began to laugh and the teacher called me up to introduce myself .

'Hi i'm Jo-Hanna,I'm from Ontario Canada and u recently moved a here with my dad'.

The teacher said thank you and I hurriedly went to the empty seat in the mid section of the room.

Hello I said to the boy in the seat beside me as I say down placing my bag beside my desk on the floor.
As he lifted his head, I was surprised to see who it was.

It was Devauny the boy I met yesterday.
   Hey Jo-Hanna he said as he gave me a cute Lil smirk you hardly find.

First period quickly ended and everyone scrambled through the door leaving met tugging behind. I picked up my bag , dropping my English book inside. I quickly noticed that u wasn't the only one who left behind after all.

Devauny : I waited on you.

Me: Thanks, um where is room 46.

Devauny: History, that's wat I have now follow me.

Me: Thanks.

'You have to be kidding me, we have the first two sessions together. He seems very nice though.

My day at school quickly flew past and it was time to get home. I didn't want to leave, I loved it here, I met 2 girls, Christy and Axi, who lived down the street from me.
