The bell rang and her heart stopped so did Allen's. "This is it", Lola walked with her to the gym. Before walking in she took a breath "You never act nervous" "I know but after Trey and how he acted I just felt bad. I don't want to be the girl that rejected every guy! I mean yeah I'm a junior and I have one more year but Lola!" "Just breath and let him down easy" She nodded "Right I'll pull a Mona. Right I can do this. Plus I don't think he's the one anyways."

Sarah walked in the gym and saw him throwing the roses on the floor. The poster was just sitting next to him. He looked upset. "You actually came" "Yeah I did" "Think you could go three for three?" "No, I don't know?" Allen nodded and just kept throwing the roses. "Roses, my moms idea. Poster friends idea." "And asking me?" He smiled. "That was my idea. Do you think I'm asking you to be my valentine as a...a joke?"

Sarah looked down. "When I was little girl my mom had many boyfriends. She told me to never trust any man unless he said he'd die for you. Would you die for me Allen?" Allen gasped and that's when she knew. "That's what I thought. Thanks for the sign it......it really is sweet" He smiled and handed it to her. "Take it." "Why?" "I don't know. Read it when you get home" He got up and left her in the gym. She then started to cry, "Oh god. I should have never said that" Lola walked in and hugged her. "I'm sorry Sarah." "Whatever he's just a guy and I'm just a crazy girl who hates love." She ran out the gym to the parking lot where Allen was with his friends.

"Look it's the grinch of Valentines day!" Sarah cried more and got in the car. She drove off and went home to cry in her room alone. "You okay Sarah?" Mona had walked in. She held the sign and read it.
"EVERY PRINCE NEEDS A PRINCES BUT I DONT WANT A PRINCES I JUST WANT YOU. SARAH REYNOLDS WILL YOU HE MY VALENTINE? That's so sweet!" Sarah cried more. "Honey did you say no?"

Sarah sat up, "He didn't even ask. I was asked three times today and the first two I said no. I even laughed at one. I guess he just didn't want to get rejected" "But you liked him?" "I don't understand! I hate all those things. The cheeses signs, the roses the guys" "Honey you don't hate it. You just....have a different view of Valentine's day." "You didn't anyone in high school but you got asked. You didn't you say yes?" "I don't know. I guess I was afraid of getting hurt like you." "Yeah but you're with Owen know." "Yeah about that" "Did you break up?" "No. Were moving in together"

"Mona! That's great!" "I know! I'm so happy" She hugged her sister and took the sign. "Im going to fix this Mona." "Okay then you go for it." She took a new blank sign and wrote on it. Then she grabbed some bacon and boiled them to form a ball. With cheese she made four lines to make it look like a basketball. "Who doesn't like cheesy?" She smiled and let them cool. She then wrote a small card and another small sign. She bought candy and set them all in her room.

She texted Connor the plan and he agreed so did Lola. "Okay see you all tomorrow!" She sat in her room practice what she was going to say. After an hour of practicing and an hour of almost canceling she finally fell asleep. She couldn't wait for tomorrow.
