Lab partners

Today was August 31, 2015 and also my first day of high school. I go into my closet looking through my clothes and eventually decide on wearing a Never Shout Never T-shirt, black ripped jeans, and my black vans. I tie my fire truck red hair into a messy bun and through on a black hoodie. I look at the clock to see it is already 7:45. I live 5 minutes away from the high school so I quickly brush my teeth and grab my penny board heading to school. As I'm about 2 minutes from school I see a black SUV go by and in the passenger seat is a boy with a few tattoos littering his arms, a blue T-shirt, and bright blond hair. He is very attractive I think to myself. I continue getting closer to the school and before I know it I'm standing two feet outside the front doors being pushed into the building by a huddle of students. Once inside the building I see signs that point to the main office and follow them to receive my schedule. I step inside the room to see plain off white paint, secretaries that probably hate their jobs, and multiple filing cabinets. The smell of pencil shavings and glue full the room making it harder to step further into the small room. A women well into her 50's speaks up saying " if you're gonna stand around looking bewildered do it in the halls looking for your classes. I walk up to the rude women's desk telling her I need my schedule. "Name" she says in a monotone voice. "Alex Crow" I respond in the same unpleasant voice. The women types a few things on the computer and soon walks over to the printer and grabs a single white sheet of paper handing it to me. I check out all of my classes and thank the women before exiting the office. As I'm looking for my locker I see the boy for the SUV I quietly walk up to him and say " sorry to bother you but do you know where locker 1523 is?" He smirks and replies " yah princess my lockers 1524 follow me". I follow slowly behind him down 2 flights of stairs to the first level of the school lockers cover the halls and I see about 5 classrooms on this lower level. He stops in front of his locker easily opening it. I step up to mine struggling with the lock when he moves my hand taking the combination from me and opening my locker just as easily as his. I smile mumbling a quick thank you and grabbing everything I'll need for today. He takes my schedule and points across the hall telling me that's my first class. I smile walking into the classroom with my head down hoping to not make eye contact with anyone. I one of the first people in the classroom so I draw in my notebook as more and more students shuffle in. Everybody randomly chooses a seat not really knowing anyone. The teacher soon comes in and says, " Hello there ladies and gents my name is Mr. Kaka in and I will be your chemistry teacher for the rest of your freshman year" he finishes with a smile and then quickly takes attendance. Once finished he begins to speak, " This year you will all have lab partners so when I read off the list of who your partners are move your desk next to theirs." He goes done the list and when he gets to me I look around in search for my partner "Kian Lawley".
