Percy POV

"I am here!" Tartarus roared.

He advanced on me stomping each step. I lowered my sword. He grinned thinking I was already giving up. As soon as he was in range, I kicked the back of my sword which was in the dirt flicking some mud into his eyes. He gave a roar of surprise not expecting that move. While he was distracted I charged.

I made an experimental jab at his legs. He blocked it still half blind. I sent a slash towards his head, he leaned back and immediately sent a course of blows. I blocked or evaded every single one. It went on for a while, when I got an opening. I knocked his sword to the side and kicked him powerfully in the chest pushing him back.

Loki used his momentum to give him an extra push making him spin around to face Sif's direction. She jumped forward and did and onslaught of blows keeping him semi distracted. He got in a lucky hit slicing at her abdomen. Enraged Thor boomed with thunder as lighting raced down from the skies hitting Tartarus square in the chest.

Thor jumped into the offense slamming his hammer into every available spot. Loki came up behind him tripping him onto his back. I slowly advanced hoping I wouldn't get hit with spare lighting. I held my sword above his neck with Loki and Thor at my sides.

"Any last words Tartarus?" I asked coldly. He smiled grimly

"Yeah..." he replied not showing any fear.

"I'm a primordial." Not losing any time he slammed his head into the ground.

The earth shook as gigantic cracks opened up almost swallowing some hunters. They all scrambled away from the edges as the Asgardians and I were blasted back by the force of the power. Loki cursed as he got back to his feet. I helped Thor up as he rubbed his eyes.

Tartarus got back up. He lost his cuffs, but a second later a whip appeared in his hands. Still covered in my blood. Does he not shop for new things once they get old? Hand me down people are so annoying. (No offense) He advanced too quickly for my eyes to follow.

On instinct I raised my sword in time to block a downward slash towards my head. I stumbled back from the force of the blow. He used that to his advantage stabbing downwards. A glowing staff blocked the hit about to enter my stomach. Tartarus looked up in time to be met with a kick from the god of illusions.

Tartarus brought a red hand to his face as he wiped away the golden ichor. He snarled menacingly. I got up quickly joining my brother. I heard sounds of battle lessening. Phoebe cried out in victory as the last monster was cut down.

"You will pay for that." Tartarus spat at us. He stomped his foot once again and about 300 more monsters showed up.

"You got more coming Phoebe, celebrate later." I shouted to the dancing daughter of Ares.

"Shut up Percy! I do what I want to do, when I want to." She shouted back at me.

"Hunters advance!" She commanded.

I turned back to the battle just to be met with a strong punch to my chest. I flew back a few feet stumbling trying to regain my balance. He stormed after me when a sword was thrust through his shoulder by Sif. He growled and swatted her away, before coming after me again.

I looked around, we were nearing the park. If I back up any more I would be cornered by a large oak tree with a maple at its side. I thought of a plan. I lowered my sword backing up each step he took towards me. When we finally reached the clearing, I backed up until my back touched the bark.

"Surrender Perseus." Tartarus grinned. I smirked back at him.

"In your dreams." I sassed back.

I flung myself off the base of the tree vaulting over the primordial. He spun around trying to stab me in the air. I landed behind him and kicked his back. He slammed face first into the bark. A sound of outrage was made as the nymph of the tree appeared. She glared coldly at Tartarus and raised her arms.

The oak tree bent to her will. All the branches whipped across the grove going blow after blow after blow. By the time she was done with her branches a rain of acorns fell from above making him raise his arms to protect his face.

He stumbled his way to me blindly. I kicked his feet out and held my sword to his chest yet again. This time I drew ichor from his chest as he breathed heavily.

"You never know how powerful someone is until you push them." I said wisely referring to the hunt and the tree nymph who beat him down easily.

"I will get my revenge." He growled nearing his end.

"You already tried." I said looking him in the eyes as I pushed my sword into his chest.

When my sword hit the ground on the other side of his body, he exploded into gold dust, but an explosion knocked me all the way to where the hunters were. I crashed into Phoebe as she got rid of another telekine.

"Watch where your falling Jackson." She growled playfully evading a hell hounds claws.

"It's better than falling right on top of you." I remarked. "Brace yourself." I called out to everyone.

I slammed my sword into the ground and the earth shook, cracks opened leading back to Tartarus and blows from the hunters and avengers persuaded the remaining monsters to take a dive. Then it was silent.

"Yes!"

"We won!"

Cheers were heard. Even Goode behind us was cheering. I felt a pat on the back from my dad. He smiled proudly. Phoebe pulled me into a big hug, then she punched me for crashing into her. There was a lot of congratulations, but finally peace.

Peace has ensured.
