I woke up the next morning, still wearing what I wore yesterday. I look at my rocket ship alarm clock, which is oddly sitting quietly, even though its past 8:00 AM, and it usually beeps until I push the off button. I know what you're thinking, I never wake up close to 8:00 AM unless upon force, why is it set so early? The reason is because I like to pretend I get up early, even though 10:30 AM is much closer to my real wake up time.
I got up, and changed, I put on a Killers shirt, and some bright orange jeans. I then grabbed my sketch pad and started to walk to the kitchen where my mom should be, and if I'm lucky, none of her friends are over. When I walk in the kitchen she's on her laptop, and from what I can see, is on facebook.
"Hey mom..." I say cautiously, she doesn't even flitch at my voice. "Mom?" She looks up at me annoyed.
"I'm working Belle, I dont care to see your next 'masterpiece'." She says, she has never been supportive of my art. She goes back to her laptop. I sigh quietly and go to Lizzy's loft, she has ear buds in and is writing on her old apple Mac (the big box one). I peer over her shoulder, she's working on her book. I pull out one of her ear buds, she glares at me.
"What do you want?" She asks irritated.
"I want to be able to talk to my mother. But she doesn't want to talk to me. So hey." I say and sit on the floor.
"Paul and Stewart went out with Maggie. Mom isn't feeling well so didn't go. Now she's pissed." Lizzy says.
"Well great, there goes anything I wanted to do today." I say, she looks at me, then notices my sketch book.
"What have you been working on?" She asks and comes and sits in front of me, she takes the book and flips past everything she's already seen (she always is the first to see my art, since my parents never seem to care.) She stops flipping when she gets to the new drawings, about 6 different drawings of the same blonde girl, Lizzy exams every drawing.
"Our new character?" She asks, I'll draw made up people, name them, then she'll add them into a "book" you could call it, about all of them in school together.
"Yeah, Logon Fisher." I say, she nods, and looks at the last drawing of her, she's wearing a yellow party dress, leaning on a stair railing of a large house crying.
"Logon is rich correct?" I nod, "and why is she crying?" She goes back and relooks at the other drawings of Logon.
"Its either her birthday, or just a random party, she invited the whole school, and at the party she realizes she has no real friends, all just rich fakers." I say, Lizzy nods.
"Dela would make a good friend for her." Dela is a girl who's slightly overweight, so is bullied a lot. "Since she doesn't have friends herself." I nod,
"Yeah that sounds good." I flip to a new page and grab one of Lizzy's pencils, and start to sketch the outline of Logon.
"What are you drawing now?" She asks looking at the book, I'm hunched over it, so she can't see much.
"Logan Dela together." I say, I finish the outline of Logon, who is facing at the moment nothing. I start to add in lockers infront of Logon.
"What's the scene?" She asks, taking a note book out and a pencil and opens it to a blank page, ready to write.
"Logon walks up to Dela, who is at her locker, pretending to look for something, but really fixing her makeup because she was crying. Its lunch, about half way through it." I say while starting on Dela's outline.
"Detailed you are today." She says, then starts to write the scene.
I nod, and start to add detail to the lockers. After a few minutes the lockers are done, and I start to make the ground, and adding other students, not as detailed.
"Why did Logon go over to Dela?" She asks looking up, I look up too.
"Because Logon is against bullying, and had just yelled at the bullies, and is going to Dela to make sure she's alright." I say, then look down at the drawing. "I'll be right bacl, this needs color." I get up, and run to the garage and grab my colored pencils, and three minutes later I'm back in Lizzy's room picking out the color palet for Logon and Delta's clothes.
"I already put in that Logon is wearing a baby pink sweater jacket." She says and takes the color that matches her description and puts it in the line up of other colors I'll be using.
"Okay thanks, and from this angle you can't see her shirt-" Lizzy cuts me off.
"No, no, no, its a short jacket, only goes down to about her elbows on her torso, but the sleeves are full length." She says, I nod and add the needed lines for the jacket.
"Okay, then a sky blue blouse with a jean skirt." I say, and take the colors out.
"Yeah, that would look cute. And Dela is wearing a..." She stops talking and thinks for a second "a black shirt, for skinny jeans. Plain and simple." She says, I take the needed colors out and starts to work on Logon's clothes, she goes back to writing. Half an hour later the drawing is fully colored, and Lizzy is finishing the scene.
"Perfect." I say looking at it, she leans over and looks too.
"Looks good, Belle." She says, I sign it with just my name, and she finishes the scene. "Want to read it?"
"Yeah," she hands me the notebook, and I begin to read it.

Logon glared at Thomas and William, after just told them off about calling Dela fat. She walked out into the hallway, searching he students for Dela, she spotted her down the hall at her locker. Logon quickly walked over to her, Dela was reapply her mascara. Logon lightly tapped Dela's shoulder. Dela turned around and looked at Logon.
"Are you alright?" Logon asked her, Dela just shrugged. "I notice that happens a lot." Logon said, trying to get Dela to talk.
"All the time. Since I'm not a stick I'm ugly to them." Dela said, looking down at her feet.
"You're not ugly at all."Logon said, she took Dela's chin and made Dela look at her.
"Because of rich snoby people, people who look like me are ruled out, called ugly." Dela said, she didn't know that Logon was one of those "rich snoby people" well she wasn't snoby, but was rich, and because of her last name hanged out with people like Thomas and William.
"I don't rule you out. You're actually rather pretty, your, uh, size fits you. Not in a mean way! But, it gives you a way to stand out." Logon said, she didn't want to offend the already upset girl.
"Thanks, but I stand out in a bad way. People will remember me as a fat girl, not a pretty girl." Dela said, Logon shook her head.
"When you feel that way, remember fat Amy, who embraced her fatness." Logon said with a giggle.
"If only I was her, but I'm to shy to do such." Dela said and sighed.
"What's your name?" Logon asked, she had seen Dela around, and being bullied, but never talked to her until now.
"Dela Rose, but I just go by Dela, I don't like roses." Dela said, and shyly smiled. "And you?"
"Logon Fisher." Logon said and smiled back.
"Fisher? Like the people who own half the town." Dela asked surprised, Logon nodded a little.
"Yeah, my family's the people taking low income housing." I say in a board tone, its been on the news a lot lately, that the Fisher company is making house prices go up.

The scene ended there, giving both Logon and Dela a start on their soon friend ship.
"I like it Lizzy." I say, handing her back the note book.
"Thanks, and it matches perfectly." She says, taking the notebook and putting it away.
The front door suddenly opened quickly, then slammed.
"She's leaving home!" I say happily.
"Bye bye." Lizzy says, finishing the line from the Beatles song.
