Mabel pov
I rushed ahead of Dipper. Today we went on a mystery hunt to find the "Hide-Behind". Even though we tried looking for it once, Dipper feels determined to find it. "Now to find this thing we're going to have to fast." Dipper had said. "What we're going to do is set up a series of cameras, and walk around for a bit. Rafter and hour we go and get the footage." I giggle "footage" We were now walking past a stream with crystal water slowly running through it. We came to the mouth of the stream and I was really thirsty. "Dipper, can we get a drink from the water. Please?" "Ok." I bent down and took small sips, Dipper was just reading the journal. I got a thought. I cupped my hands in the water and threw it at him. It hit him on the chest. He looked up. I laughed fully this time. Dipper sighs "we won't be able to set up all the cameras at this rate!" Oh bro, always worried about monsters. "Come have a drink it will make you feel better." He walked over and took a few sips. "You're right. I shouldn't worry about this so much. We should just-" Before he finished his sentence, Dipper plunged head first into the stream. Before I could catch him, my eyelids drooped and the world went black.

Dipper pov
I awoke at the bottom of the stream I had fallen into. For a few moments I lay there, basking in the suns rays, before I realized I was underwater. My through closed tightly as panic sawn through my veins. Frantically, I swam towards the surface, but a thought occurred to me. If I had fallen asleep in the water, how was I still alive? Reluctantly, I looked down. A large, light blue fish tail, was in the place of my legs. I screamed, and a jet of water shot out of my mouth. A groan sounded beside me. Without even looking,  I knew it was Mabel, and that she was in the same predicament I was.  "What happened?" I looked over at her as she sat up. Her tail was a vibrant pink, and shined like diamonds in the morning light. "Mabel, is there any way out of this?" She gasped. Then the world lost all color and a familiar demon appeared.
