I'm freaking out. Why did I have to lie and say I have a boyfriend. Oh right. I would never hear the end of it from my mom and sisters. My dad is well...gone. Oh no what am I gonna do. I sigh. What joy family and life is. I keep packing. My best friend Selina has recently kicked me out. I'm not upset or anything. OK so what if I am. She kicked me out for a guy. Who does that.
I kick my dresser and start hopping around when I hear my phone ringing. I hop around to my bed and look at the number "who the fu...", I mumble to myself before answering it. I hear a loud laugh from the other end of the phone.
"um hello?" a loud deep voice answers.
"hey she answered!" everyone on the other end quiets down.
"um who are you?"
"Oh I am Jason. Your friend tells me you are looking for a place to stay?"
"Oh yes that's right. I'm willing to pay half the rent but could I look at it first?"
"Sure thing pick you up at 8 tonight."
"Wait wha.." he hung up on me! Ugh he doesn't even know where I live!
Just then I hear my phone ding. I look down to see it is the same number who called me. "wats ur address bae?" I type in my address and tell him to never call me "bae" again and continue packing.
*At 7:45pm*
I open the door to see a guy about my age. A slight tan and a narrow nose. with blonde short hair spiking up.
"Wow you're hot." I roll my eyes. I can already tell he's a player.
"Lets just go," I mumble and close the door. I turn around to lock it but, I feel eyes burning into my back. Or more of my butt.
"DON'T STARE AT MY ASS YOU PERV!" My yelling must of scared him cause he jumped back a foot or two.
He mumbles a quick "Sorry" before walking to his car.
I lock my door and follow behind him. I get in the passenger seat.
"Like my car?" he says with an annoying smirk I would like to slap off.
"Meh a fuckboi like you would have the kind of car." He has a red Chevy Corvette.
"What do you mean fuckboi?"
"Nothing , is this the apartment?" I say pointing at a small black building with about 3 other apartments with it.
"Yeah come on I'll show you what number it is."
We climb onto the elevator which means it is on the second floor I'm guessing. Just as the elevator starts it stops. I look up at Jason.
"Um are we stuck?" I start pressing 2 repeatedly. While Jason sits there looking scared shitless.
"hellooooo could u help me figure this out!?" I basically yell at him. Which seems to snap him out of it.
"Yeah ok" he mumbles while pressing the buttons that I just pressed.
I slide down the elevator wall and sigh as he sits next to me.
"YOU GET THE BEEEEST OF BOTH WORLDS..." My phone blasts and I quickly answer it.
"Hello?"
"Hey honey! You are coming by tomorrow night right?"
"Yes mother."
"Oh and bring that boyfriend of yours too. I can't wait to meet him!" she giggles while I sigh.
"yeah ok."
"Ok bye honey." and I hang up. I hear a chuckle beside me and I look at Jason.
"What's so funny?"
"Oh nothing....other then the fact you lied about having a boyfriend"
"How do you know I'm lying?"
"Um your hideous sighing?"
"You're a dick!"
"Thank you. I have been told I use it quit well." I roll my eyes.
"Ew."
"Anyway. I think I can save you."
"Uh no , stay away from me."
"Not like that jesus you perv!"
"Oh. Then proceed." I sit and look at his smug smirk.
"I be your boyfriend." I cut him off.
"In case you haven't noticed I can't stand you.."
"I mean fake boyfriend, in front of your family. You are not lucky enough to actually have this." he says while running his hands down his torso, making me fake gag.
"Ew please stop before I puke."
"Fine but what do you say about the plan?" I narrow my eyes at him.
"What's in it for you?"
"Dinner."
"Um what?"
"Are you deaf? I said dinner."
"Just dinner?"
"Whenever I say." I stare at him for a moment. I really need his help.
"Ok fine. Deal" I say sticking out my hand.
"Deal." He says shaking my hand as I feel the elevator lurch and start moving up finally.
