Those In Red: The Academy

Chapter-1

All Lyon heard were the yelling of a very particular apple orchard farmer and the footsteps behind him. Lyon a boy just 15 years of age is one of the best thieves within the walled city of Helius. Since he was left with nothing not even a blanket or basket to warm him just a crying baby outside of a orphanage. He grew up learning the hardest way to look out for himself and only himself. He grew up in this city he knew just about every hiding place or escape route. He could hear footsteps behind him he looked behind him only to see that the guards were catching up slowly. He could try and blend in he was dressed in a dirty old rag for a shirt and nothing better for his pants. He thought he could blend in with the crowd until WHAM!!! He ran into the chest plate of a guard he looked around he was surrounded until his eyes settled on a ladder leading to the roof. He bolted towards the ladder barely making it past the guards. Once he was up the top he looked down to see a few guards climbing up the ladder and one of them was almost upon him. He kicked the ladder down but a moment to late the top guard pulled himself to the roof and bolted towards Lyon. But Lyon being a thief was fast but not by much the guard managed to land a lousy punch into Lyons back. He pulled himself together and thought he was going through have to lose him on the roofs. So he ran and jumped from roof to roof almost losing his footing twice. He knew he had lost the guard no one could catch him now so he turned around and saw two people in a red cloak with the cowl over their heads one was taller and more muscular and the other small. He smiled and thought they can't catch me up here. Until the started to jump from roof to roof as fast as Lyon could hope for, if not faster. Lyons' face turned pale.
