Cassidy's POV

"These woods are deep, we're not going to get lost are we?" I asked following behind Kian and Sam.

"No, we'll be fine, there's still cell service so we can find our way out with that." Sam replied.

I kept following until I heard Kian say something.

"Guys, there's a cabin up ahead." He said.

He waited for Sam and I to catch up and when we did we saw the large, old cabin there.

It looked straight out of a horror film to me, but I was really curious.

"We've gone in at least two miles, this isn't near any roads at all." I said.

"Should we check it out?" We questioned.

"I think we should." Kian said.

"Let's do it."

We found the front, seeing that the door was slightly ajar, and we went inside.

I grabbed onto Sam's arm, for guidance because I couldn't see for shit.

"Here, take your phone for a flashlight." Kian said taking my iPhone 6 out of his pocket where I had him keep it so I wouldn't lose it.

I immediately turned the brightness down on my phone and then turned on the flashlight.

We stuck together, not wanting to get separated.

As we made it into a creepy hallway, the front door slammed shut.

"Okay what the fuck." Kian whispered.

"Probably wind, we're in a hilly area, it would make sense." I said trying to be rational about this.

"If I die I'm going to be so pissed." Sam said, making me giggle.

"You'll be fine, lets keep looking." I suggested.

We kept walking around together, searching the upstairs, and coming back down after finding nothing.

"And I thought this place was haunted." Kian said.

Just as the words flew out of his mouth, we all saw a large black figure standing at the top of the stairs and an indescribable voice scream "leave!"

We all ran for our lives, scared and pale white.

We ran for what seemed like forever, before we stopped and caught our breath.

"That, was," Kian said with ragged breath.

"Scary?" Sam and I said at the same time.

"No shit."

"What the fuck was that?" I asked.

Sam unlocked his phone and went straight to his camera roll.

"I decided to vlog, starting upstairs." He said turning his phone sideways so we could watch it.

[the vlog will be in italics]

"Let's check this room first." Kian said as we entered the hallway.

I watched myself on the tape, noticing something following along side me.

"This place is creepy" I hear my voice say as I held onto Kian's arm, scared out of my brain.

We walked further around the house before going back down the stairs.

I anticipated the words Kian spoke as Sam's camera stayed focused on the stairwell.

"And to think I thought this place was haunted."

The figure seemed to form from thin air, and then the "leave!" Was heard and that's where the footage cut off.

"That thing was fucking creepy." Sam said.

"I don't think I'll ever sleep again." I said.

"Just cuddle up with Matt, you'll be fine." Kian smirked at me.

"And what about you Mr. lawley? What will you do.?" I asked.

"I will stay up forevermore until I get over that." He joked around.

We made our way back to the truck, and began our journey back.

They dropped me off first and I thanked them for the night, hugging each of them and heading into my place.

Everything was dark, considering it was 12:25pm.

I checked every inch of the place, being paranoid and then going to the bedroom where Matt laid on the bed, barely awake.

He was wearing his basketball shorts, with no shirt on.

"Hey baby, how was it?" He asked sleepily.

As I changed into comfortable pajamas I told him the whole story.

"You scared now?" He asked.

I nodded and he pulled me into his arms.

"You shouldn't be. I've got you baby." He said.

I cuddled into his chest and began to drift off to sleep.

"You thought you could escape?" You're never leaving." The ominous figure growled at me.

I stood motionless, unable to move or form any words.

The figure slowly started coming near me, and I felt the anxiety rise in my chest.

It got closer, and closer, and when it was finally within touching distance of me there was a loud clap of thunder.

I bolted up in bed, sweaty and clammy, feeling hot tears in my eyes from being so terrified.

Matt sat up hearing my sobbing and immediately got worried and grabbed me into his arms.

"Are you okay Cassidy?" He kept repeating.

All I could think about is the breathing exercises my friend Dan taught me at playlist when I got a bad nightmare from a movie we watched.

I grabbed my phone, and checked the world clock, it was nine am in London, so I gave it a try, calling Dans phone.

Matt seemed to understand, since he was with me at playlist.

"Hello?" The British accent said into the telephone.

"Dan" I choked out, tears still coming down.

He instantly started to console me, his voice soothing me.

I don't know why, but when this happened to me Dan was the only one that could calm me down.

When we were at playlist, and I had a bad dream, he told me how he gets them sometimes too, and showed me what to do next time.

We chatted for a bit until I felt better and I told him I should try to get some sleep.

"Thanks for helping me out." I said.

"It's no problem, I'm glad to help, good night." He said and we got off the phone.

I laid back in bed where Matt was waiting for me.

"You alright now?" He asked.

"I think so." I replied, laying my head back on the pillow to fall asleep.
