Run Away Chapter 9(:

The night seemed to drag on. I began to think the room was soundproof because I could not hear anything outside the room. All I could think about was Alex. Was he part of the plan to keep me captive in a strange place? Was he worried about me, and looking for me? What about Eric? I'm sure he was very worried about me as well. Some time during the night I finally fell asleep with thoughts of Alex and Eric in my head.

I was woken suddenly when the door slammed open. Brent walked in with some bread and what I hoped was water. He placed it down beside me. After a few moments of us just staring at each other he finally spoke.

"Well, are you going to eat or not? I figured you would be hungry after hours of not eating anything. Plus we need to keep you alive. After all, you are very valuable to us."

"It is kind of hard to eat when your hands are tied up above your head and no way to grab the food."

"True, but if we were to let your hands go you might just try to escape, and then I would have to hurt you."

"It would be kind of hard to escape with my legs still chained...honestly do you even think?"

"Well if you are going to insult me then I guess I can just keep you tied up and you can forget about eating for a little while. I think that is a good idea. What do you think about it?"

I just glared at him. I was not going to back down. My stomach growled so I really hoped that he would. He grinned when he heard the noise. I looked away so that he would not be able to see my face.

"Well....I guess if you won't give in, then I'll take this food back and not give you the rest of it I was going to bring."

When he began to turn around I called after him. "Wait....."

"Yes?"

I paused. "I'm sorry for insulting you....." I kept my head down.

He walked over to me and kneeled in front of me. I didn't look at him. He put a finger under my chin and lifted it up until I was looking into his eyes.

"See, now was that so hard?"

I pulled my head away from him. He let my arms go and handed me the food. I ate it quietly, paying no mind to him.

"Why do you ignore me, Jessica?"

"Hmm..let me think about that one. First you kidnap me, and take me away from my BOYFRIEND! Then you leave me trapped in a dark, cold room for hours and hours in an uncomfortable position. Oh and just now you were going to deny me food for being honest and truthful. Why do you think I ignore you?"

He sighed and closed his eyes. He was known for losing his temper easily.

"What? Did that hit close to home for you?"

"Don't push your luck. I am trying to be nice to you. You know why you are kept captive, and I am not afraid to hurt you. All you are is our little prisoner."

"Oh so it does affect you. And here I sat thinking you were completely heartless."

He put a hand around my throat and pushed me in to the wall.

"I will hurt you."

I looked him right in the eyes. "I'm not scared of you and who you are."

He grabbed the cup of ice cold water that was for me and threw it on me, emptying it. I shivered but that was all. Then he grabbed me roughly by the back of the neck and bit into it hard. I gasped from the pain. He put the cup by my neck and filled it up with my blood. Then he stuck his teeth into the side of my neck and drank my blood. I pushed at his chest trying to get him to move away but it was no use. He would not budge. I started to get really light headed and dizzy and began to feel weaker. He finally let go but  instead of closing the wound, he let it keep bleeding. He watched me as the blood continued to flow from my neck and I turned a very pale color. Then everything went black.
