I ended my hectic day with a exhausted sigh as this day was full of meetings and all and I was hella tired
I leaned in to the chair sipping water I grabbed my phone and called my zauja to ask about her whereabouts. Should I pick her up on my way home as it was already 10 at night
I called her and she told me that she was staying their tonight and I seriously don't want a sleepless night as I am now habitual to cuddle her
After a lot of discussions I said "jaisi apki marzi" As I know very well that she isn't going to listen today and knowing that she is meeting her parents after months I decided to not push this topic further
I went home and was about to have dinner alone as I was late than usual and everyone was already done with dinner but my sister accompanied me as she was here to take water so she sat with me
She was telling me how her college was organising a program and she was chosen as a head to manage everything
We were in middle of conversation when the most annoying creature of our mansion showed up whistling and he gasped dramatically when he saw both of us
"Sach bata de agar mai sautela hu to mere bagair aap dono baatein kr rhe hai? Kyyaa itna bura hu mai maa" He said dramatically
"Beta ji aap isse bhi zyada bure ho" Ammi came from behind smacking his head
Both of us laughed at his expressions he was whining like a kid "phle yakeen nahi tha lkn ab yakeen hai ki mai adopted hu" He said wiping his fake tears
Teasing each other is definitely our love language
"Ice cream khani h? " I asked them keeping plates in kitchen and they both said yes in a sync. I know how crazy they are for ice creams specially at this hour
I smirked and said "chalo wapas apne room me jao aur so jao foran kahi nhi jana hai"
"Na kare bhai please"
"Chote bhai bahen pe rahem kare thoda aese koi krta h" Dramatic much.
"Okay fine let's go 5 min se zyada wait nhi krunga bahar" I chuckled grabbing my phone and key from dining table while they followed me with a huge grin on their face
The atmosphere was lively filled with their fun banters and bickering as we finished our ice cream I went to pay for it and soon we were back
I went to my room and they went to theirs I know that night will be long as I'm all alone tonight I thought to work for a while
