Why are you here?

Chapter 8

Well I just got back from playing  basketball so I thought " Hey why not write a chapter before i go to the gym." Yea so it's like riduculously hot outside and i can't really think straight.  so anyways on with the chapter.

Chapter 8

I left the house and made my way to the nearest Starbucks.  I went there and my order was taken by a really hot worker.  I ordered a caramel frappe and took a seat at one of the tables.

I just had to wait another hour for Carly and Robert to get done with school. 10 minutes later I find myself in an intense game of Angry birds on my iphone.  Concentrating on the gremlins(that's what i call them) I shot one of my birds and scored!  I flung out of my seat and raised my arms for victory.

A little advice, if you want to do that in public get ready for a large amounts of stares.  I smiled at the audience and sat down continuing my game.  About 20 minutes later i decided to text Carly and Kevin to tell them that i was waiting for them at Starbucks.  

"Still here I see."  A voice said distracting me from my screen.

I looked up and saw the waiter that took my order earlier.  "Still working i see."  I replied back with a hint of sarcasm.  

He smiled before sitting down in front of me.

"Go ahead, have a seat."  I said after he sat down.

"You're funny, so what's your name?  He asked.

"I'm Kim, and you are...?

"I'm Craig, so Kim why are you here alone."

"Because I'm waiting for my friends to get done with school."  I replied smiling.

"Shouldn't you be in school."  Craig said smirking.

"Shh, nobody has to know."  I replied putting my  fingers on my lips.

For the next half an hour i spent talking to Craig about everything and anything.  I learned that he's twenty-one and just finished college.  He's also working here because he doesn't want to work at his dad's company.

After that he gave me his number and I left to go meet up with my friends.  I saw Carly and took off running towards her.  

"Hey ditcher."  Robert and Carly said in a unison.

"I wasn't ditching i was having me time."  I replied.

"Aka ditching."  Robert said.

Robert started laughing and Carly and I started staring at him.  Two minutes later he's still going at it.  After a minute more we all headed to Carly's house.  We spent the next couple hours watching movies and just chilling.

Out of Nowhere Carly gets up and yells "we're going out tonight."  She smiles and tells me to go home to get ready.  Robert and I went our separate ways and I headed home to change.

When I got home I was met by Ethan, still in his boxers eating chips on the couch.  I just rolled my eyes and headed to my room.  I decided to take a shower to freshen up.  I picked out my outfit and started applying make-up.

I looked over to the door and saw Ethan smiling at me.  I was shocked and jumped dropping my eyeliner.

"Where are you going?"  Ethan asked as I bent to pick up my eyeliner.

"Out."  Was all i said.

After I was done doing my make-up, i turned to leave the bathroom, when Ethan blocked my way.
