As soon as I stepped out of the car, I entered an into a world of lights and laughter. The Chand Raat fair was in full swing. The stalls were draped in shimmering fabrics, sizzling kebabs, sweet jelabis, colourful bangles, and my favourite jhumkas!

I had visited Chaand Raat fairs before, but this one just felt special.

"Hopefully we'll get your jhumkas here." Kabir said getting out of the car.

This was a very spontaneous plan, two hours ago I was on call with Kabir when I mentioned I hadn't found matching jhumkas with my Eid outfit. I know after Kabir gifted me fifty jhumkas this was unlikely to happen. But it did, my Eid outfit was blue colour. I had twelve different blue jhumkas but I didn't have the exact shade that matched my outfit.

So Kabir suggested we go out for a little shopping. I had protested but he said we could go to the Chand Raat Fair.

"You should get these." Kabir said examining some glass blue bangles as we passed a stall.

I admired Kabir while he tried to choose bangles for me. He wasn't the kind of man who adorned love with grand words, but his actions—every small gesture, every moment of quiet care—spoke louder than anything he could say. The way his brows furrowed in concentration as he matched the bangles to the picture of the dress in his phone that I had sent him before, the way he glanced at my hands every now and then, as if already envisioning how they would look against my wrist, made me smile for a reason I couldn't figure out.

I had been so blind before. So afraid. But now, watching him, I bit my lip, fighting a smile as Kabir finally selected a set—deep ocean blue with pearl embellishments. "These will suit you." He said, his voice quieter than the lively chaos around them.

"If you chose it, then it will." I winked at him.

He held his heart dramatically, "Don't flirt with me so much I will actually get a cardiac arrest."

"I can flirt with my fiancé." I replied. Yep, fiancé. On our Europe trip few months back, Kabir had proposed to me in front of the Eiffel Tower. It was so dreamy I felt like I was living a Disney movie except he always made me feel like a princess, and not only in that moment.

"Please get this packed." Kabir paid for the bangles while I got us some cotton candy.

"Alizeh and Zain won't be coming this Eid not will Noor but what about Ahaan?" I questioned Kabir. I missed the gang together. We had all come to become a group so unexpectedly but now we talked everyday.

"Nope it's just us. The four of us can go out tomorrow." Kabir suggested.

"Wait-check out this stall." Kabir said stopping us at an earring stall.

"Ohh I love this and this-" I said excitedly. But then I remembered what happened last time- he got me fifty jhumkas. I better be careful about what I say.
