3 days of being clean. Not very exciting for a teen that's about to have everything change. Jericho County was my only true home. But when Ella, my mom, meets a new guy. Everything changes. He lives in California, we live 600 miles away. Long distance relationships aren't perfect. But they met up, started a relationship, and got married. But there's only 2 miles to California left.
Chapter 1: The New House
" Hey, Delilah, what do you think about your mom and I getting married?" Said my step-father, Ricky. He's 5'4, black hair, blues eyes, and try's to be a real father to me. " Well.... I woke up to my mom fantasizing over the house, I mean mansion. Really you live in a 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom, 1 office, and a huge pool in the back yard mansion. I got out of car, right after my mom did. Got my suitcase and back pack, when to Ricky and asked for the keys. He gave the keys, and about 25 steps away I hear him say to me " Pick whatever room you want!" I waved and smiled, turned around and said " Is there one with a rope so I can hung myself, cuase I'll need it."
