This chapter is really short, but I promise that I will make the next chapter interesting and much much longer.
So let’s just say that for the past several months, I did still get beatings some were more intense than others etc. I have big new though my neighbors are moving over the weekend and someone new is moving in. I wish that I could go with them so that I can get out of this living hell hole that Miranda and Joseph call “home”. Oh well what could I do.
I woke up Saturday morning to hear an engine revving. What the hell is that? I got up from my bed and went over to my window to see that my dear and closest friends are about to leave me forever. She is not going to leave this town without saying goodbye to me first. I immediately run down the stairs in my pajamas and onto Ashley’s front yard.
“Chelsea!” Ashley yelled as she came running to me.
“Ashley! How dare you try to leave this town without saying goodbye to me!” I said in a disappointed voice.
“I’m so sorry, but I’ve busy packing up my stuff,” She said with pity in her eyes.
“You know it is really sad that we have to leave during summer,” Alicia said coming up out of nowhere with Marie.
“Hey!” Ashley and I tackled both of them with hugs. After our hugs we just relaxed and embraced each other’s presence.
“I know right. You guys couldn’t move during school. I mean I’d rather have that than have you guys leave now. Now I won’t have anyone to play with over the summer,” I said in sadness and in pity.
“Don’t say that! Everyone loves you and you know that. Remember that song. I’ve got a bucket got a bucket of sunshine. And yada yada yada,” Marie said trying to remember lyrics to a song.
“Yeah, but what if the new neighbors don’t like me. What if they start to bother me,” I said looking at the ground.
“Marie, it’s to go sweetie! Come on!” Marie’s mom called from across the street. Marie just turned around and nodded.
“I listen to me. I am 100% sure that the new neighbors will love you,” Marie said before slowly backing up and turning around to go back into her house. “Bye!” She finally said when she was in front and waved and went inside her house.
“Bye!” The three of us waved at her before she went inside of her house.
“Well 1 down 2 to go. I wish I was moving with you guys or at least leaving around the same time as you guys,” I said looking at the ground and playing with the green grass blades with my toes.
“Ashley, come on. We have to get the boxes into the truck and then we have to go,” Ashley’s dad said stepping half way in and outside of the house.
“Okay,” she turned around at face her dad and nod. She turned back around hugged us, said that she will miss us, and ran inside her house.
“Well that leaves the two of us,” I said staring at Ashley’s family’s moving truck.
“Yup,” Alicia said making sure to pop the ‘p’.
“Hey, I think that we should go before your mom or dad calls you,” I said breaking the silence that Alicia and I held for about 5 minutes.
“Yeah, I mostly think because you still have your pjs on,” Alicia pointed out. Oh my God. What kind of friends do I have? For them not to tell in still in my pjs is just sad.
“Thanks, Alicia,”
“Yeah. Okay, come here and give me a hug.” We hugged and gave our byes and walked into our houses.
Inside my house, they were still in bed sleeping and I woke pretty early. Speaking of that? What time is it? I went into the kitchen and check for the time on the stove. The stove read that it was 7:30 in the morning. Damn. I went to my room and closed by door slightly and left enough space for him and her, but mostly him, to see that my door is not closed. I went back to bed and slept some more since it is summer so why not sleep.

Ding. Dong. Who could that be? I didn’t set and appoint for anybody. Chelsea’s friends are moving today. They left already so it can’t be one of them. I went to the front door and there was Joseph with lipstick stains all over his face and on his lips. What the fuck? Where was he all night? He didn’t go to work. So that means that he was using his job as an excuse to see someone. Wow!
“I can explain,” Joseph said trying to sound strong and confident.
