I see a shimmering city of steel and glass. Classic and modern and futuristic all at once. I gaze in awe down upon this foreign city. The robot woman from the elevator nearly gives me a heart attack when she announces another message for me over the intercom.
"Era Chase please report to the lobby on Level 172." So I head back to the elevator then up to Level 172. On Level 172 I ask the elevator where I am supposed to go. To my utter shock, she replies, " Go to the conference room in the Fandoms Wing. Go right then the second left then up the stairs to 14-F."
I follow the interfaces' directions and find a surprisingly small conference room with a least a half a dozen or more monitors on the walls. One of them begins to flicker into recognition. The others follow suit.
A balding African-American man appears in the middle screen. Next a petite dark haired Asian woman. Along with a burly Indian man, a brunette middle eastern woman with cold eyes, an eastern European man with blonde hair and a clenched jaw. A gentle looking red haired Irish woman occupies yet another screen.
So this is the Board of Representatives. Quite impressive, I think.
"Hello there Era," the balding man said, "I suppose you might have some questions."
