Riley's POV:
Edward gave Bella, Jasper and I a lift to the police station, Charlie believes that we should have dinner together as a family, as if that would bring us closer together. We all got out of the car and walked towards the building. I refused to wear the ring on my finger since that would cause a lot of attention that I really don't want, so instead I wear it as a necklace.
Bella and I looked into the window to see Charlie sitting at his desk talking to two people. Bella then turned to Edward.
"I know that you know what Alice saw, tell me."
"It was nothing." He replied.
"You looked worried."
"Because everyone would notice how strange Alice is."
"I think that ship sailed long ago." I butted in. "Do you know whats wrong?" I asked Edward and Jasper. Ether of them could answer.
"There's someone missing in Seattle over a year ago, Charlie is doing everything he can." Edward looked down after he said that, as if he felt guilty.
"Do you know something about this?" Bella asked him. He started to shake his head but he finally said the truth.
"We've been tracking the situation in Seattle for a while now. Unexplained disappearances, killings, if the situation gets anymore conspicuous, the Volturi will step in."
"If they go to Seattle they could come here, see that Riley and I are still human."
"It won't get that far. But we'll go to Seattle if we have to."
Just as Bella was about to say something, the door to the police station opened. The people who Charlie was talking to, whom I'm guessing was a missing persons parents, walked out.
"I'll fax these down first thing." I heard Charlie say.
"Thank you." The man, or father I'm guessing said.
"Hi." Bella said to Charlie, good thing I have my iPod.
"Hey," Charlie replied.
"You ready for dinner?"
"Yeah, is it still just you, Riley, and I, right?" He said looking at Jasper and Edward.
"We're just dropping them off." Edward told Charlie, "see you later." He then said to Bella.
"Bye."
Jasper didn't say anything, he just gave me a kiss on the forehead.
"Oh, Bella," Edward turned around to say. "My parents wanted to remind you about the air line tickets they got you for your birthday."
"What air line tickets?" Charlie asked. Ooo, this should be good to watch.
"Tickets to see mom in Florida." Bella told him.
"Well, that was generous."
"It expires soon, so you might want to use it this weekend."
"Well, I can't just drop everything and go."
"It might be your last chance to see her before you graduate." Oh, but isn't she going to come to that, or not. I don't know.
"Well, it might not be a bad idea. Get out of town for a couple of days, get some, distance."
"Yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing mom. As long as you and Riley use the companion tickets."
"Wait, there's three tickets? Super. That makes me really happy." Charlie said sarcastically.
Charlie then walked down the steps and towards his car. Bella and I followed him.
A/N: Okay by then end of this chapter the movie was at twelve minuets and thirty seconds. I am loving this story though, and I don't want to stop, but by the end of breaking dawn, I might do midnight sun, sure it would be in Edwards point of view, but I might change that to Jasper's point of view. You guys vote, also, vote on what you guys want Riley's vampire power to be.
Leave those two things in the comments.
