'A star'. Thats what my father had always called my mother when I was younger. My mother had passed away when I only had just lost my first tooth. I can't really remember much about her, only that she was the most beautiful woman that i had ever laid eyes on. Yes, I know, that was coming from a five year old. Even now, ten years later and she is still the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes on. When she passed, nothing seemed right. My father just sat in his room all day and stared at the wall and all I could think was about where mother left to because at that point, she hadn't been home in about two weeks.
My name is Lucy, I am now fifteen years old and I have mental health problems. Thats a strong statement, 'mental health problems' but thats the correct terminology, I guess. I got diagnosed with depression and an anxiety disorder at the age of twelve. I had a hard time at school, I was bullied, I got into fights, I smoked and I suffered with self harm. All just to take the pain away. This story is about my life, when I got sent into the MHU (Mental Health Unit) when i was thirteen years old.
