people have been begging me to write another Carolly fanfic and its finally here, please leave comments about how you are finding it

all chapters are named as lyrics from songs, chapter one is from Chasing Cars by Coldplay (one of my all time fave songs)

Carolines POV:

"The X Factor?" I repeated the words Simon Cowell had just said to me.

How could I possibly host the X Factor?

"Yes Caroline, I believe you and Olly are ready for bigger things, and presenting X Factor is one of them" Simon was sat opposite me, he intimidated me. I have known him for 4 years and he still gives me the goosebumps. When he said Olly it felt like a century's worth of oxygen was blown out of my mouth, I wouldn't have presented it with anyone else.

"Have you told Ols?"

"No I haven't, he's coming in" he checked his watch, which probably cost more than my car. "Now, he should be here now"

"Okay that's fine, I just didn't want to ring him tonight and break the news before you had told him" I smiled before there was a knock at the office door.

"Come in" Yelled Simon.

"Hiya Simon" Olly grinned walking into the white modern office, before noticing me. "Caroline!" he screamed like a teenage girl. I stood up and walked over to him before he lifted me up and squeeze me.

"Olly" I mocked his tone. We hadn't seen each other since November, 5 months ago.

"Can we stop this beautiful reunion we do have something to talk about, remember?" Simon laughed. Thank God he was in a good mood.

"Sorry" Olly laughed before carrying me over to the chair I was sat on and placed me back on it and taking a seat on the chair next to me.

"I want you to present X Factor"

"X Factor?" Olly replied, I let out a small giggle since he replied the exact same way I did.

"Together, I want you both to present it"

"What about Dermot?" Olly asked. Shit I had forgotten about Dermot.

"I fired him" our mouths dropped. "I'm joking, well kind of, I told him I didn't want him anymore since he was doing the same thing every year, I need fresh people in and you two are the people you got me views on xtra you can get me views on the main show as well"

"Okay" Olly replied.

"You can both leave now, I've got places to be, people to see" Simon said while standing up and opening the door.

"Um alright thank you" Olly grinned shaking Simons hand while leaving.

"Thank you" i gave him a kiss on the cheek and left catching up to Olly.

"No shagging in the corridor please" He called behind us. I just laughed.

"Ols!" I yelled down the corridor running after him. "Olly!" I caught up to him, huffing and puffing, 'God I have to stop smoking' I thought to myself while getting my breath back.

"I don't know if I can do this" he stopped me in the middle of the corridor, after I caught up with him, and he pulled me towards the wall so we wasn't in the way.

"What do you mean?"

"X factor"

"Its a great opportunity though Olly" I replied confused why he wouldn't take this amazing pay rise.
