I lay their helplessly, dead, but breathing, I can't move let alone speak. I look down at the wound silently, it's gone, it's all gone. My mother is screaming in horror about the tragedy that has just happened to her little girl. It kills me to see her like this. And frankly it is killing me. In the distance I spot a blurry truck with red flashing lights. This is the moment I get ambushed. Ambulance people every where, checking my pulse, giving me a breathing mask, and lifting my off my half-surf board with bite marks onto the bed in the car. In those brief seconds that I thought were my last I turn my head and whisper to my mother who's face is becoming a river,"goodbye".
