I brushed my hair away from my face and held my luggage by slinging it over my shoulder. Today was a very important. My dream job had been achieved after long years of hard work and distress. The sidewalk was clear of people, and the sun shined brightly on the dew covered grass. Now, I just need to hail a taxi. Well, that's what the woman said. Before I knew I got the job, a woman came to my house, told me I was applicable, and gave me directions. I knew how to hail a taxi, I had enough money, and I knew how to get there, but there was still one problem. Hailing a taxi. I waved my hands, ran, and etc. No taxi would stop. Ugh. I'm just wasting my time.... It would be faster to take a bus- Ah! A taxi stopped! I ran up to it as I slowed down. It was completely empty except for the driver. He beckoned me in and I openind the door sitting in amd closing it. The driver looked back with his shades still on. He had a fine complextion, a nice smile, a black hat, and brown hair pulled back into a ponytail.
"Hello pretty lady. Where would you like to go next?" he asked. I handed him the directions.
"Sorry. It would probably be easier if I show you." I apologized. He nodded, handed them back to me, and drove off. In thirty minutes, I was at my destination. "Thank you!" I said bowing at him after getting out. His eyes were covered, but I could tell he winked. I handed him a check, but he shook his head smiling.
"Don't need it. Have a good time working here pretty lady!" he said driving off leaving the check in my hands. After waving goodbye to him, I realized something. How did he know I was working here? That's odd... No. There is no time to be worrying! Your past self is behind you! I turned my attention back to the luxurious building Tres Spades with a big smile and walked in.

I used to work at an orphanage as a volunteer. It was fun, but I knew in order to live in this world, you have to have money. My rent was becoming more expensive since it had been held back from my lack of money. The land lord was nice enough to let me stay instead of kicking me out. Those kids were all helthy and happy at the orphanage because of me the person that ran the orphanage would say. She said that I could leave and live my life to the fullest. "What do you want? Don't you want to achieve that dream you burned from your memory so long ago?" My dream was to be a maid at Tres Spades hotel, but I knew that it would be impossible to achieve, or so I thought. My boss signed me up for the test to be a maid there. She was the one who gave me directions and the announcement that I had made it. She said I had passed with flying colors. I didn't want to leave her though. She was my coach in life, and the kids at the orphanage relied on me, but despite that, they all pushed me to go and get my dream with a grin. But I was still unsure and nervous. "It's like a roller coaster." my boss said to me. "You can scream, you can cry, you can laugh, but overall, it's exhilarating." With words of encouragement, I was ready to go and make my dream become reality.

Walking in while ignoring the wondrous place to keep calm, I recognized the manager and walked up to him. He smiled at me. "Come with me." he said walking towards a hallway with a few rooms in it. He opened one that said maids. Some women in blue uniforms were in there talking. They stopped mingling as soon as they saw the manager and stood up straight.
"Good morning sir." they all said formally. Wow. Perfectly in sync. Then, one popped up with her leg bent on the bench and saluted him goofily.
"What's up dude?!" she asked excitedly. Her amber irises shown brightly.
"You never change Kaede." the manager said with a sigh. "Ladies, this is Yuuna Sanazaki. She is your new coworker, and I expect you to treat her with respect just as I expect her to respect you."
"It's good to meet you all!" I said bowing slightly. My heart skipped a couple beats from worry.
-----
I am Yuuna Sanazaki. Often a worrier and I guess a nice person, I try my hardest at what I do! You may recognize my last name from somewhere, but we'll get to that later. Back to the story.
-----
Kaede beamed and looked at me. "She's so cute boss! Are you sure she's not just a girl you picked up?" The manager huffed.
"No. If you don't stop talking, I will cut your pay." the manager threatened. She laughed and shut up. He turned to me after I picked my head up. "Here is your uniform." He handed me a pair of shoes and a folded blue dress. "Feel free to wear anything under it, but please do not make it too noticable. Also, call me Mr. Kenzaki. I will be taking my leave now." Mr. Kenzaki left and closed the door. I overheard a trio of woman talking as I began to change.
"Has he gone blind? This girl obviously has no talent!" whispered the one with the long ponytail loudly.
"Right! Right!" the twins replied in sync. Kaede stood up again.
"AHEM! SHE KINDA CAN HEAR YOU!" she yelled. The one with the ponytail looked at her and walked over to her. The twins followed her.
"Kaede, what did I say about yelling?" she asked. Kaede didn't back down despite the woman's harsh gaze.
"GEE, I DON'T KNOW-" Another woman walked up behind her and covered her mouth. She was pretty with a black bob and grey eyes.
"Come on guys. You're both setting a bad example for our new recruit!" she scolded. "Erika, you're being rude. Kaede, please quiet down a little." Kaede nodded, and Erika scoffed walking away. The twins followed her. She then stopped and looked at me glaring.
"You! You better not slow us down!" she snapped. "Or else!" I nodded, and the pretty woman with the black bob walked up to me.
"I'm sorry about that. Erika is our leading one, so everyone follows her. With the exception of a few people. Oh and if you're wondering, the maids have gotten their own room here." she said. "I'm Chisato. You're Yuuna, correct?" I nodded and smiled.
"Yes. Thank you, Chisato." I replied. We began talking about some things like where our apartments were and who everyone was.
"Alright! Now it's time for work!" Chisato said after we finished talking. All of the maids filed out of the room in mannerly order. Chisato and I followed behind. "You know where everything is?" I nodded. "Alright! You can go do the bedding with Sakiko over there!"
"Yes ma'am!" I said as she left to her job. And so, my first day at Tres Spades had just begun.
