I've been colorblind my whole life. A tragedy, it seems. Everyone always fawns over my apparently beautiful red hair and emerald green eyes. I've never been able to see them. Every tournament match I'm in, the commentators always comment on the fact that my hair always stays perfect, and is never tarnished. I don't see it as such of a big deal.

I've never really cared that I was colorblind, but my family is devastated. Only my doctors and close family know this, and I would like to keep it that way.

"Pyrrha, it's time to leave!" My mom called from downstairs.

"I'm just finishing packing, I will be down in a minute!" I called back, closing my suitcase and grabbing my spear. I'm going to attend Beacon Academy, and we're leaving for the airship ports in 5 minutes. I double-checked my list, and made sure I left my room spotless before I left for my new home.

"I want to leave a couple minutes early in case of traffic." My dad yelled, tapping his foot.

"I'm on my way down right now." I said, walking down the stairs slowly. I had to be careful not to fall, as I was carrying twice my weight in suitcases.

"I'll get everything into the car, just go get yourself buckled in." My dad chimed, taking everything from my arms.

"Thank you, it felt like my arms were going to fall off." I let my arms drift to my sides, and walked out into the pale world we called Vale.
