Hah. Fuck it. Just go, it's not like you to not go. I jogged down the steps.
"Mom?" I called and heard the dishes being washed.
"Yes honey?" She replied and I sat
Down on the kitchen table.
"Can I go to a party tonight?" I asked and she slowly turned around.
"Really Jade? After everything you've done? You even said so yourself, your trying to change... Do you really think a high school party is going to help?" She said and I sighed.
"So it's a no?" I questioned and she shook her head.
"Yes it's a no. Just stay home and settle into the house.. Okay?" She said and I sighed and went to my room.
Yeah right mom, like imma stay. I put on an outfit and got ready. The sun was setting and the party was going to start in half an hour.

I slowly opened my window and pulled myself out. I fixed my beanie and jumped down.
I started walking until a car pulled up next to me.
"Get in." Matt demanded. Gosh does he always have to bother me?
"No." I replied and he sighed. "Please? Can I drive you to the party?" He said and smiled.
As much as I wanted to say no.. I said yes.
"So, I never really got your name.." He said and I rolled my eyes. Why Is he a fuck boy one minute then A sweet kid the next?
"Jade." I replied and he smiled.
"Jade I like it." He said and I smiled. "Sexy, just like you." My smile dropped. See? Fuckboy then sweet boy.

"Drink this," he handed me a shot glass. I shrugged and gulped it all down. Damn this shit was good.
I took a few more. After about 10 minutes Matt had definitely disappeared. I started walking into the living room.
"Wanna dance?" The blue eyes boy asked. "It's Nash by the way." He said and I nodded . We walked to the dance floor and we started grinding, you know the typical stuff.
"Come on." He said and we walked to the back yard. Oh no, I'm not read for sex.
"Meet my friends." He said and i sighed in relief.
They introduced themselves and decided on truth or dare. Come on we both know what's going to happen, I'm going to be dared to kiss someone. Duh.
"So Carter, you first." Nash said and he tapped his chin.
"Jade, truth or dare?" He asked and squinted his eyes at me.
"Dare, bitch." I replied and everyone ohhh'ed.
"I dare you to kiss the hottest guy in the group." He smirked and fixed his hat.
I looked around the room. Nash? Matt? Carter??
"What if I can't choose." I asked and they said I have too.
"Matt." I said and they all groaned in disappointment.
"YESS!!" Matt cheered and I laughed. I leaned in and slammed his face against mine. Butterflies erupted inside of me. Why? I don't even know him.
We all ended up taking shots in the backyard while the boys were passing a joint around.
Nope, not me. I just got out of rehab for smoking since I was 14. So I'm not trying to get addicted again.

"Can I drive you home?" Nash asked and smiled running his fingers through his hair nervously,
"Oops, sorry I'm taking her home." Matt said grabbing my wrist and pulling me out.
"Matt! I was going to say yes!" I exclaimed and he shook his head. "Um, no you weren't." He replied and I rolled my eyes.
He climbed in his car and I got in too. "So I'm hot?" He smirked once we started driving. I rolled my eyes, once again.
"A bit." I answered. He chuckled and put his hand on my thigh. I tensed up on impulse and he smirked. His hand inched up. Oh god.
"What are you doing?" I asked, as if I didn't want his hand there. God knows I melted under his touch.
"Just driving, ya know?" He said playing dumb. We arrived at my house and parked his car.
"Okay, bye Matt. thanks for the ride." I said and walked up to the side of the house. I pulled myself up and was on the roof of our shed.
I looked over the ledge and saw Matt staring at me. "What?" I asked and he smirked. "Your ass is so much nicer from down here." He laughed walking to his house. I rolled my eyes and walked to my window opening it.
I saw my light glowing from the closed curtains. Hm, I remember turning them off. Oh well.
I stepped inside and saw my parents. Shit. "Hey mom." I lightly laughed, nervously.
"WHAT THE HELL! JADE! You've been gone for hours! It's 2:30 in the morning! You lied to me!" She yelled throwing her arms in the air.
"Me and your mother were worried sick!" My dad huffed and My mother left the room in rage and my dad stared at me tapping his foot.
"Who was that guy that dropped you off?!" He asked and I rolled my eyes.
"No one, I'm tired can I go to sleep?" I asked and he turned red.
"No! We will talk
About this right now! You know what? Fine! We won't talk about this because your grounded! For a month, come home before 3:30 and stay in your room!" He yelled.
"That's so not fucking fair, dad! Oh my god! I can't go out but you can, sleeping around! Pretending like mom doesn't know! She clearly knows. Oh my fucking God! This family is so broken! You expect me to stay another day in this house! Fuck you!" I yelled and he slapped me. I stood there in shock. He wasn't abusive at all.
I guess I just pushed him over the edge. I stood there with my hair in my face. I looked up and he stared at me with a fire dancing in his eyes.
