I looked down, everything has changed now..time...I just knew it. My name is Tiran, son of Medivh. Before the timeline was altered he was known as "The Last Guardian", but it was changed. I knew that, even if I came from this timeline I could sense that I shouldn't exist.
I looked up, through the window of the Tower of Karazhan. It was a very mystical and magical place, where visions were seen and magic was held. Only two people were regularly allowed here besides me. My father, Medivh..and his still continuous apprentice Khadgar.
The visions that I once held while in this citadel of the unknown was now containable, I felt my whole life. But inside I knew this was my first true day.
The door creaked open a slight bit, a slow yet steady pace. "Tiran." The now raspy, low and determined voice spoke, it was my father.
I looked up at the figure and nodded. "Hello father..." I looked down at the floor once more. I sighed loudly, but somewhat happily since I knew that the guardians would continue to protect this divine world.
He looked down and took a seat, a grim look on his face. "The other kind has arrived, through the portal. The part of the great demon lord still burns through me." He looked at me and put a hand on my shoulder. "They will be here soon to ensure that the demon stops right here."
I looked up at him and stood up slowly. "No, I will ensure that the guardian survives...no matter the cost."
He shook his head. "You and I both know that you shouldn't exist and I shall die Tiran. I am the last guardian."
Anger builder up in me at the term, the last guardian. A huge title for my father to behold, but it ended so soon. I clenched my fists and glared at him. "Not that I am here...now maybe I shall be the "Last Guardian" father." I said with confidence, having an awkward stare off with him as determination was shown in my eyes."
He nodded, smiling faintly. "You have done well Tiran...just know that." The door was blasted open as he turned his head around, looking back down at me. He grabbed my hand and out something in it, a medallion. "Stay safe, son. Keep them safe...." He was shot at by an icey bolt of fire, being charged at by a sword after. It was at that moment, that the old "Last Guardian" fell. And the "New Guardian" would arise.
As I saw him fall, tears filled my eyes slightly. But I kept strong, knowing that this was for the best in the end. The best for Azeroth, the best to destroy Sargeras and the burning legion, and the best for me. I glared down at his now slightly more pale, dead body. I looked up at the two who arrived. Only Anduin Lothar and none other then a once young again Khadgar.
They both looked at me, slightly shocked that I stayed in the room. "Son..." Lothar spoke slowly and softly. "I'm..."
I cut him off. "You did what was right Anduin. I looked at him and bowed slightly. "You can also take care of the rest..." I started to walk away.
Khadgar stepped in front of me for a moment. "Tiran...it was for the best." He put a hand on my shoulder.
I brushed his hand on and looked at him in the eyes. "I know...take care of the rest and report to me. You are now my apprentice." I pushed past him, bumping into him ignorantly with my shoulder.
He stumbled back a bit in shock when I hit him with my shoulder. He looked over at Anduin. "What did he just say?..." Anduin shook his head sadly. "His father, our friend is now dead...he is the new guardian Khadgar. Leave him be."
I kept walking, not looking back. Not thinking about anything, not my father, not Anduin and Khadgar, not even my responsibilities as the next guardian. I just walked and walked, out of the tower, farther and farther away. I eventually after a long walk reached a pond, staring at it for a few moments before I dropped onto both knees, looking down at the reflection. There was no way he was truly dead, not Medivh..a guardian of Azeroth. There was no way he was killed so easily, even if he allowed them to attack him! I clenched my fists, one which still held the medallion. "WHY!?!?" I yelled out, using my spare hand to punch the ground.
"It's okay son." The older man put his hand on my shoulder, it was obviously Anduin.
"He-" My eyes filled with rage, sadness, and fear." I looked at the ground. "I'm going to be he guardian of Azeroth...I just."
He kneeled down next to me. "I know it's tough, I never thought I would kill such a dear friend." He exhaled. "But some things must be done, with or without good reason."
I looked back down at my reflection, now smiling. "You are correct Lothar...very correct." I pushed myself off the ground a bit, looking at him. "If you would excuse me..I believe I must be going back to Karazhan now." I nodded at him.
He smiled and then nodded slowly, agreeing. "You have plenty work ahead of you, guardian." A small amount of joy filled his face. "Keep Azeroth strong, son. As for you are our hope."
I chuckled softly. "As are you, sir." I bowed and walked away slowly towards the ivory tower with determination. 'I am Tiran...I am hope...I am the "New Guardian.' Is the only thing I thought on the whole way there.

Woah, am I back finally? I guess so! I am going to try to keep up the Wattpad writing for as long as I can. Sorry for all of my mistakes made, or errors. I decided to start this on a twist of my favourite video game ever called World of Warcraft, I suggest you check it out. Big shout out to Brianna, my encouragement for even writing stories in the first place, and she taught me what to do. So thanks Brianna!
