Tokoro pov

"So you finally believe us that Sen isn't the guy to hang with." Atsushi said.

"Yeah..." I said not making eye contact.

"By the way..." he said coming closer to me and whispering in my ear. "I saw the picture that was on his phone." He said and I blushed.

"I deleted it though." He said.

"How long do you have to stay here for?" Himuro asked.

"The doctor said two weeks.." I said.

"Can we have some time alone?" Atsushi asked them and they left without a word.

I looked at him. It was quiet and awkward.

'Is he going to ask me out..." I thought.

"So um now that everythings behind us would you like to see me play against Seiren in the next month?" He asked.

My joy faded inside me. "Y-yeah I don't mind, watching." I said looking down at my hands.

"Is that what you made everyone leave the room for?" I asked.

"No, actually I let them leave to give you this." He said.

I looked up and he placed a kiss onto my forehead.

I blushed deeply.

"I have to head to practice." He said.

"I'll be visiting when I have the chance." He said and left.

"I was hoping for more than that, Atsushi." I mumbled.

Onii-chan and Kagami came in.
"The winter cup is close by and we have to head to practice, sorry sis." Onii-chan said.

"Its okay go ahead I'll be fine." I said and he nodded leaving.

"Get well." Kagami said and left.

I sighed and went to sleep.

It's been a week and 6 days, I would be leaving out tomorrow.

The door to my hospital door opened. In came Atsushi and the doctor.

"Good morning Tokoro im just here to check out your head injury." The doc. said.

I smiled and nodded. I looked over at Atsushi.

He gave me a big smile while rubbing the back of his head.

The doc started to check my head out.

"Since your leaving out tomorrow im staying the night." Atsushi said. "Really?" I said and he nodded putting his bag next to the chair and sat on it.

"Alright everything seems to be fine no problem, you injury is doing great, just need to inject you." He said taking out an injection.

I node and he inject me with it. I bit my lip.

Once he was finished he left the room.

Atsushi started to eat chips.

I stared at him as he continues to munch.

He noticed me watching.

"Want one?" He asked.

"No.." I said. Suddenly the door to the room open and in came a red head.

He looked at me his eyes different colour.

"Akashi..." I thought.

"Aka-chin, why are you here?" Atsushi asked. "Himuro told me I'd find you here." He said looking serious as always.

"Hello, Tokoro." He said.

I gulped and gave him a little wave.
He kept staring at me.

"Aka-chin, your scaring her." Atsushi said.

"We need to talk outside." Akashi said leaving the room.

I waited 5 mins and he came back with a sad expression and no sign of Akashi.

"Whats wrong? What happened." I asked.

"Nothing at all, say what about we do something tomorrow." He said.

"Atsushi..."I said worried.

"Its nothing, I mean it see." He said smiling.

"Alright if you say so." I said.

I looked over to the time.

I slowly got out of the bed. "Eh, are you allowed to get out of bed?" He asked.

"Yea I am." I said walking over to the window. I watched as the sun sets.

Atsushi pov

She's so beautiful...I just want to hold her right now. I took a maibu out of my pocket and munched on it..

"Atsushi." I looked at her. "What did you and Akashi spoke of?" She asked.

"...we were speaking about sports" I said.

She looked back out the window.

Did she buy it? I thought. "I like you alot Atsushi-kun and I hope it stays that way." She said going back into the bed.

I sat down on the chair next to the bed. She looked upset.

"Your upset why?" I asked. "You didn't answer back." She said.

"Sorry." I said. She only smiled.

The sun was gone and the moon was there.

I held her hand. "Don't worry you'll be out by tomorrow and we'll have fun."I said and I wish I could see her face expression. It was dark.

I turned on the light and looked at her. She was already asleep.

I smiled.

"I love you.." I whispered.
