In through my ears.
Listening to a story starting to unfold.
The soothing sound of music can never get old.
Eliminating the world now it’s just me and my music.
Clearing my mind makes the lyrics mean much more.
This is the sound that I truly adore.
Head phones on, mind is clear.
Music is music.
It helps me think and figure out solutions to my problems.
Without music I probably wouldn’t be able to solve them.
Maybe it’s in the lyrics.
Maybe it’s in the beat.
Maybe it’s in the enticing tempo that gets me up and out of my seat.
Hips swaying back and forth mimicking the funky beat.
Hands in the air because I really don’t care.
I’m in my own little world.
And only music can take me there.
