Chapter 6: "Camp for tonight"

.:Normal POV:.
Sonic walked backed to the lever and pulled it down. He was still wondering why there was a beast in the floor of where Amy and RB were in. The ancient door slid up making an opening for the lovers to pass through,leaving the beast behind unconscious. Danis continued to carry his Angel in his arms not wanting to let go,because of that Rainbow slept peacefully knowing she was safe by the arms of her lover. Sonic,Amy and Danis walked inside another dark tunnel not knowing the door behind them shut slowly.

.:Danis' POV:.
I held Bloss close to me while I followed Sonic and Amy walk side by side in the dark tunnel. I wasn't able to light up the place cause I had my angel in my arms.

"You think we're finally heading out?" I asked the two hedgehogs leading the way.

"Maybe..." Amy answered softly looking seriously at her surroundings.

I just remained silent after the answer Amy gave me. The three of us kept walking,hoping we'll all find a way out.

.:Sonic's POV:.
I walked a little faster so I'm able to overtake Amy for her safety. I just needed to protect her at all costs. I know she was looking at me while I walked a little in front of her and she had the "Awe" look. I blushed lightly due to her presence and the face she just made knowing I was protecting her.

-A few minutes later-

"Guys... Let's camp for tonight." Amy exhaustedly said to me and Danis.

"Uhh... Sure." Danis replied and quickly sat down,letting Rainbow rest in his lap.

Danis lit up his fire and I quickly looked for firewood around the place. I wasn't able to find that much cause why would a temple have wood in the middle of a dark tunnel? So I positioned the firewood and sat down beside Amy. Danis flicked his fingers and a fireball appeared in his palm,he gently threw the fireball in the firewood and it now became a campfire.

.:Amy's POV:.
I rested my head on the wall leaving a glance at the campfire. I was just thinking about the same message all over and over again,I don't know why exactly.

"You okay,Ames?" Sonic calmly asked me.

I shook my head removing that thought of what the message meant.

"I'm fine Sonic... Just thinking..." I sat up straight looking at my hero now.

"Thinking about what?" He asked me curiously.

"Rainbow Blossom..." I lied

He raised a brow.

"C'mon Ames,tell me." He smiled goofily.

I giggled at the smile he made,he just looked cute... Wait! Did I just say?! No! Calm down Amy,calm down...

I sighed and made my legs reach up to my chest.

"I was just thinking about the message... "Lovers Forever." It wouldn't get out of my head.

"I also have that feeling..." Sonic mumbled.

I looked at him in confusion.

"You do?" I asked him,hoping he wasn't lying.

"Yeah... I'm actually thinking about it right now..." He mumbled a bit louder for me to hear clearly.

"Do you know what it means?" I asked him again

"Well... I was going to ask the same question to you..." His eyes narrowed mine.

"Oh... I'm not sure but maybe it meant staying with your partner forever without leaving their footsteps away from yours." I tried my best to explain what the message meant.

He stared at Rainbow and Danis sleeping peacefully together,still thinking about my explanation. I also looked at the couple watching them with Sonic by my side.

"We better get some rest too..." I yawned and layed in the cold floor. Sonic did the same and pulled me close to him,like he really wanted me in his arms so desperately. I smiled and felt warmer by his fur rubbing into mine.

"Night Sonikku..." I said my last sentence and closed my eyes,drifting off to sleep in my hero's arms.

"Night Ames..." Sonic replied softly and closed his eyes,drifting off to sleep as well.
