Fight To The Finish

Treecko , Mudkip, Or Torchic

         I grab the Pokéball labeled Torchic. I open the ball and he jumps out ready for a battle.
"It looks like the Poochyena is ready to battle!" Birch says as he sits down panting from running around so much.
Poochyenna uses bite on Torchic and I close my eyes slightly scared of what's going to happen.
"Torchic use ember!" I say so loud I'm almost screaming. Poochyenna walking around almost fainted uses Swagger.
"Torchic use tackle!" I say hopping this is the last time. I slowly watch Poochyenna faint. As he hits the ground I smile big. Professor Birch approaches me and says
"Great job Kenna! Why don't you keep that Pokémon?"
"Thank you professor Birch!" I say running down the route waving at him and I put my new Pokéball in my bag.

"Hey Kenna!",Brendan says running up to me, "I see you got your first Pokémon that's awesome! How about we see who is the better trainer>:)"

        We start our battle. Brendan picked Mudkip, and I picked Torchic.

       "Mudkip use tackle!" Brendan shouts
        "Torchic use ember!" I say with full confidence in myself that we will win.
"Mudkip use tackle one last time!" Brendan says and he watches our Pokémon, Torchic avoided the attack and I shout "Torchic one last time use tackle!"  Torchic tackles Mudkip, Mudkip faints.

       "Wow you did a great job Kenna.. For a girl" Brendan says laughing.
        "FOR A GIRL? I BEAT YOU AND YOU ARE A GUY!" I shout at him

Brendan laughs and grabs me by the hips and flips me over his shoulder and I scream while he laughs he fakes to throw me into the lake. I move me leg up trying to hit him in the face. He throws me softly to the ground and moves beside me,

        -.-, I look at Brendan "why did u do that?"
              "I don't know,"he says smiling
"Hey Kenna?"
                "Yes?" I say curiously.
               "Do you want to train side by side? Like we train together and fight battles together?" He says hoping I'll say yes.
               "Uh maybe for a bit maybe after we get our first gym badge we go solo...." I say hoping I didn't disappoint him and smile a little.
                   "Oh okay, that's fine" he says looking away.
