Cyndia
"C!" LJ yelled.
"I'm coming." I said pulling my box braids in a bun.
I grabbed my purse and cellphone and jogged downstairs.
"You was up there for a hour to put on some fucking old ass clothes?" He asked.
"Pardon me boo the correct term is vintage." I corrected.
Shit honestly I think I'm gonna fuck up the D town with my swag.
"Yea Yea Boo can we gone to school?" He mocked.
I pushed him and ran to the car.
"Ewww." I complained as the smell of weed, pussy and sweat burned my nose.
"What?" LJ asked like he didn't smell shit.
"Nuhuh B you foul." I spoke.
I reached in my bag and got out my travel size febreze.
"Aye fool you trippin." he laughed.
I loved my cousin in all truth he the annoying, protective brother I never had.
"So let me school you." He suggested.
"Come on then Playa' J " I joked.
He smirked.
"True shizz up hur et Crenshaw dez some hating azz hoez. Deys gone be friend ya but when ya doing betta den dey ignant' ass that down you real tawk'" he explained.
I sat there lost ass hell. Everyone in the whole world know Lewis Jr can't talk. I mean not even comprehensive.
"Huh?" I asked.
"Just watch'ya back." He simply but truly said.
Being raised in the suburbs I never been in a fight and my chill attitude didn't sign a check my ass could clear. I'm a people person and barely used profanity. I just got a big enough vocabulary where I really don't have to.
We pulled up to the school aunt Joyce and I registered at last week and to get a better look of it with students surrounding it, it's cool. Nun too ratchet. Yet.
"Don't be shakey Cuz." LJ said getting out.
"Shakey?" I asked.
"Yea lemme explain." He said putting his arm around my shoulder.
Jaceyon
"Bruh I'm hungry enough to eat some dirt." This dude I fucked with occasionally named Eddy said.
I looked at Dre and laughed.
"It ain't a first." I joked.
We was laughing then we saw my nigga LJ arm around this dime. I mean shawty a ten.
"Wassup Lucky." LJ said turning towards me.
"Damnnnn" my crew said in unison.
"What's good LJ." I said as we dapped up.
Lil mama was bad. She had on a brown tank, some green shorts, a brown and green cardigan and some green and brown toms. I mean she was simple but knew she was swagged. Her light skin completion and them hazel eyes was compliments from god.
"Damn Wassup." Eddy blurted.
She giggled and that was it. I fell in love at sight.
"Y'all this my--
"Girlfriend." she blurted.
Ian no bitch but my heart sunk. LJ laughed and she smirked.
"I'm Cyndia." She introduced.
"I'm Dre, that's Eddy, and my cousin Lucky."
"Hellooo." She said kinda goofy.
I laughed and her eyes landed on me.
"Well I'm gonna show to her class ima get up with y'all later." LJ added.
"Nice meeting you guys." She said looking at me.
"Ill see you baby." Eddy yelled out as she walked off.
"Y'all see that?" Dre asked.
"See what?" I asked.
"Eddy dignity." He clowned.
"You a fool."
Lunchtime
"Y'all ain't making it to play offs." I ensured as we sat in the cafeteria talking about the game last night.
"Bruh you keep think the fucking Cavaliers sorry ass will." Chris argued.
"Maine." I said turning my head to see Cyndia and this girl cool with my sister named Chelsea walk over to our table.
"What y'all talking about?" Cyndia asked.
"Aye exactly who we need." LJ praised.
"She don't know shit bout it." Mike ensured.
"About?" Cyndia asked properly.
"C who making it to the play offs." he asked.
"The Cavailers." She answered cocky.
"Thank you." Dre and LJ slapped hands.
I just observed.
"Why?" I asked.
She smirked and explained the game points and everything.
"Boo." She ended.
Everybody laughed and oohed but in my head I knew lil mama was the one.
