It wasn't like you had aspired to become a janitor. It also wasn't as if you had even looked for the job.

But the job had found you anyway.

You preferred to call yourself a "member of the cleaning crew" whenever people asked what you were doing this summer. The job was one of those that had appeared on a Craigslist ad, and seeing as free pizza was one of the perks, you called to see when you could schedule an interview.

Then you walked into the pizzeria. It started out to look like a normal restaurant, one that had someone place you where you were to eat while you waited in a place with hard benches. But there was a catch.

Behind the waitress who would seat you, there were two doors for you to follow her through. As you struggled to look through the windows, (the place was quite packed, it was a wonder that you hadn't heard of it before) you knew why. The left window held a darkened restaurant, with lights like ones you would see in a club. The area inside was filled to the brim with teenagers and young adults, who were enjoying cocktails and fancy drinks as popular music blared. It was strange, to say the least.

The window to the right was almost the exact opposite. Not only was it bright, it was colorful, and full of life. And by that, you meant it was full of children (and the parents unfortunate enough to be watching them). It seemed as if the rooms were almost exact opposites, and you were more than curious to see what the darkened room held, but unfortunately, you were led off to the children's area before you could sneak a peak.

You met your boss, who had taken one look at you and asked the preferable hours, before giving you the job. It was decided before you came that someone was needed to clean the child's play area, and that was how you ended up with a mop in your hands, wiping away the spilled soda and pizza stains that littered the floor.

Thankfully, this gave you enough time to look around your workspace, and to see who exactly was working with you. There were two people waiting tables, one guy and a girl, both wearing either rainbow outfits, or a fun array of colorful patterns that you were sure neither would be caught dead wearing in public. The girl's name was Bella, and she was pretty nice, for working as a waitress. She had pretty black hair, but it was colored on the underside to be blonde, and it looked good with her lightly tanned skin. The guy's name was Jason, and you liked to think of him as a silent ball of sunshine. Not only did his hair seem to glisten all the colors of the rainbow when it hit light, but his pale blue eyes paired with his bright grin just seemed to make any child smile, even when they were crying their eyes out with snot running down their faces (ew).

All in all, they were both nice people to work with, but you figured that they had to be in order to even work in this area. The CPA (child's play area. It just makes my life easier) wasn't all that bad anyway. There was the arcade in the corner that had machines that gave you a free game if you hit them hard enough, the area was clean (thanks to you. The previous janitor was a jerk and let everything stain), and there was peppy music playing in the background. Although the bright colors began to give you a headache sometimes and the music seemed to brainwash you if you weren't paying attention, the coolest thing about your job was the animatronics.

That's right, animatronics.

The first time you saw them was when the curtains opened on their stage, displaying the three of them with their separate instruments. They sang a welcoming song for all the guests, and also pointed out that they had a new friend joining the family of the Freddy Fazbear Diner. You were confused at first and stopped mid-mop, but then a spotlight shone brightly in your face as the bear introduced you to the kids, with the bunny putting in to remember to say hello to you.

It was quite embarrassing. Not only was Bella laughing, shaking her head with a smile, but Jake was laughing silently so hard that he had to go to the break room to catch his breath. You were positively humiliated. Thankfully, after making you wave to the stares of the now terrifying children, the spotlight left you, and you were left to your own devices.

There were a few kids as the day went on that came up to you to ask you meaningless questions, but those you were able to dodge with a smile. It was a few hours later that the restaurant closed at 10:00, and you and the other employees went about cleaning up whatever you had missed. And by other employees, it was just the two who were waiting tables and you.

You all made small talk, asking each other what they had been working as before they landed this dead-end job. You weren't really up to talking seeming as you barely knew them, but fortunately Bella did most of the talking seeing as Jason didn't. It was explained to you that he didn't really enjoy talking much, which made you wonder how exactly he had landed the job as a waiter, who had to ask people what they wanted all day. He smiled at you when you had let that slip out (you covered your mouth immediately afterwords, much to the amusement of them) and Bella explained that he just didn't really like talking, that, and the fact that his vocal chords didn't exactly form correctly, making it hurt for him to speak. You looked at him, seeing his closed-eyed smile, and asked what he sounded like.

"Like a dying child screaming." Bella had on a deadpan face when she said that, and behind her Jason was mock-choking himself while flopping to the ground like a fish multiple times.

You giggled, but tried to cover it, and in response Jason came even closer making silly faces. Bella snorted as she wiped down another table, and it was then that you let out your laughter. It was loud, and when it had been let out, you noticed that your two fellow employees weren't the only ones listening to it.

Hey everyone! Now, I know what you're thinking, why is she starting another story when she has so many that she really needs to finish? Well, I got inspired by some fan art of the fnaf boys~ I'm still trying to decide on whether or not I should make this a series of somewhat lemons or something, but idk.

This IS an alternate universe. It takes place after the first game, but in this pizzeria, the original animatronics have been made... Into something else. The Toys, however, are still active, and are in place on the right side. Mangle and Foxy and the other Originals will be revealed, and will be in a different place than the other pizzerias.

In this, the reader is a janitor for the children's side of the restaurant. Although she does help serve sometimes, her main purpose in the establishment is cleaning up after those dang rowdy kids that throw pizza around. I made the reader a janitor because it's not usually done, and it just really moves the story along.

Yes, she will be taking the night shift eventually, but I wanted her to have this job originally because honestly, who in their right mind actually signs up for a night shift as their first choice? Sorry, but I like my sleep.

Anyway, if you guys have any questions, leave a comment and I'll get to it as soon as I can. :)
