We live in a world that's rough
It wasn't no mistake
God put us here for a reason
For our goodness sake
People say we live to love
But loose to fight
Why are we fighting
That's NOT right
People say they don't trust us
But they do anyway
People say get out my way
But I decided to stay
When I wake up every morning I pray
And I say what I need to say
God is always on my side
And that's more than okay
